Implantation or early period? TMI PICS

I woke up and went to the loo this morning and was bleeding. My af isn't due for a week. I had unprotected sex last Monday and actually, having looked, that was around my fertile period (not actively trying but wouldn't be upset!) I'd be around 8dpo now.
Just wondering if this looks like a possible implantation bleed or if it's too red? The first 2 pics are after my fmu and the last one is after my smu.

Just to add, I woke in the night feeling slightly queasy and have a sort of odd feeling that I don't know how to describe today 😅 not quite bloated, not quite fluttery, not crampy but along those lines I guess?! My nipples are slightly more sensitive than usual but nothing major. Not sure this is particularly helpful as I know this could all be symptomatic of af arriving too 😂 but there we go!

Hi OP, sorry I wouldn't have thought this is implantation bleeding, it's very red. I think you've come on.
I had the same thing on Sunday, then I came on. I know how it feels it's just so disappointing ☹️

Thanks so much for the reply! I suspect you're right, it's just very odd for me to have a period that starts this way. It stopped within probably half an hour at about 8.00 this morning and I've had nothing since! I'm also a week away from being due on so it struck me as a bit strange!
Probably just one of those out of the blue weird cycles though. Thanks again 🙂

How long did it go on for and how much bleeding? Enough to need any sanitary ware?

Hi, thanks for replying! I went to the loo twice within about half an hour and this was there only when I wiped. By the time I went again a couple of hours later, there was nothing when I wiped! That was yesterday morning and I've had nothing since. A bit of very mild cramping and I'm tired, hungry, mildly queasy at times and need the loo more but they could be explained by af being due. Although I wouldn't usually get af symptoms this early.

@Booboobabu the problem is you cannot trust any symptoms before AF arrives/a positive test as they are all caused by progesterone rises, not HCG.

This could be - 1) ovulation bleeding 2) implantation 3) an unrelated gynae cause like a cyst or fibroid 4) hormonal nonsense from a fluctuation this month or 5) early period that will start properly. I hope it's #2 but it's not possible to tell yet

Same thing happened to me last month and I thought it was implantation bleeding cos it would be a cruel joke if it wasn't ( my periods are quite regular, I had sex during fertile time etc..) unfortunately it was a cruel joke, I came on real period two days late (again cruel - the last 3 months I had started a day early), followed by MASSIVE cramping, temperature, halfway through period. I have had endometrial cysts before and think it might have been something to do with this??? I still don't know really but I'm not PG (unless I am this month, which is possible 😇 I'm in the 2ww). But yes cruel joke!

@MsBombastic555 I'm so sorry to hear you've been through all of that! How miserable! 😔 To be perfectly honest, it wouldn't surprise me if this is just yet another cruel joke my body plays on me. There have been a fair few.

Aww thank you. The thing is I don't usually spot, last month was the first time ever, which is why I thought it was suspect 🧐. Anyway it's P Day tomorrow.

How fucking unlucky are we?! Lol. I started. The only positive is that it was bang on the day so at least I know now without it being a bit late like last month. Sigh. Also another positive is I seem to have pinpointed my ovulation quite well it seems to have been exactly when I thought it was being as I have started today. A new month for both lol. Cheers 🍸
