1 days past period, is this negative or positive ovulation test?

Hi all, I come off my period yesterday, so have started testing for ovulation from today just so I get used to my body. I’ve attached a photo of a normal ovulation strip, I also have the clear blue monitor which says “low” but the test looks quite strong on the strip to me? But I feel like this is too soon after my period? Thoughts!

That’s negative. It’s needs to be as strong or stronger than the other line to be positive.

LH is also high during period so you'd usually not test from period. If you have a normal cycle length then tests would be from cycle day 8 or so

Ah okay! Thanks both. My clear blue monitor keeps telling me to test day after my period. I think it’s just figuring my cycle out!

The control is the one closest to the green part of the strip. It’s when that second line is stronger/darker than the control that’s a positive.

I find I have a feint second line for quite a lot of the cycle, Then for the 1 day I will have a peak/high.

Also there’s an app you could put them in to keep track, Premom. It’s up to you of course, but I found it helpful.
