I’m about 6/7 dpo and my rhr has been steadily increasing. Today it was 73 and it’s never gone that high as a rhr. Today I was sitting and my heart rate was 119?

I was so confused because I was just relaxing on my sofa. Has this happened to anyone and they go on to get a BFP

Hi @winterspinach i have been measuring it too. I had a previous miscarriage and when I got a bfp it steadily rose very high so it’s definitely a sign. However it can also be affected by other things such as booze and dehydration. Mine has been really high too at 6dpo but I have a bit of a cold. I think the key with is if it stays elevated when your period is meant to arrive. I’ve shown some photos below, Feb is when I was pregnant and this is September now. The dates highlighted are ovulation

Hi Yes I measure my rhr, but not for ttc purposes, it just so happened that i own a fitbit and wear it all the time
I began plotting it against my bbt chart and noticed the patterns are similar. It's a very interesting finding in my opinion. Not sure what other inferences one can draw from it, perhaps it's an alternative to bbt? Not much research has been done around it either.

In your case, id say its related to your progesterone. My rhr increases during the tww as well as my temp. Good luck

@winterspinach i noticed it too before ttc, it always rises slowly before ovulation then goes high a bit then drops again a couple of days before my period arrived. So the progesterone link makes sense. Good luck as well

Yes!

I noticed mine go up.. I think by 7 BPM?
But just sitting it was pretty high sometimes but I'm not sure how long it took for my positives
