Strong positive FRER but weak cheapie

I've read so many of these posts but never made one myself. Wondering if anyone had experienced the same?

Today I got strong positive on FRER at 13dpo it came up straight away nice and clear.

But the easy@home (with the same urine) was really weak - total squinter. It has dried darker but at 3-5 minutes it basically looked negative.

Because I've done lots of IVF have often been able to compare home tests results with actual blood tests. FRER, CB Digital have always been bang on for me and easy@home have been surprisingly sensitive and reliable too.

I know easy@home are less sensitive but surely not that much less?!?

I wouldn't worry about it. You've got positives on all 3 tests. A line is a line. Congratulations.

I wouldn't worry either. We had this after our last ivf round. Easy@home super faint, CB digital 3wks + and FRER really dark. My blood hcg was 2500ish.

Thanks @PlntLady that's reassuring to hear your experience. This is our last embryo so our final transfer for a sibling for our DD. There's a lot riding on it and I've had a lot of chemicals.

We are on a similar situation so I know how anxious you must be. We just try to view it that its positive and until someone tells us otherwise we are taking it as just that. 🙂

@PlntLady thank you. I hope things are working out for you whichever stage you are at now.

I only tested today because I started bleeding! There's always something that adds to the anxiety isn't there!

I'm going to avoid testing again for a few days because I'd like to try and enjoy this.

I find the cheapies MUCH more weak. Congratulations @Janefx40 !

My easy one was weak also at the beginning
the box sed from 25miu. Frer is 6 so maybe your like 30? Which is higj for frer but low for easy?

Yeah, the easy strips I've seen vary from 10 to 25 miu sensitivity (and I'm not sure I believe the ones who claim to be 10). FRERs have been tested in clinical studies to have a sensitivity of 6 so they are much more sensitive.

@J1290 thank you. My easy@home say 10 and I've found them quite sensitive before so my fear is that my level may have just been 15-20. The FRER was really quite dark tho and I don't think you can get a falsely strong test. Confusing. Anyway I was only 13dpo do a weak test is ok as long as it gets darker.

Too scared to test again. Want to try to enjoy the moment x
