Confusion over fertility blood tests and scan

Hi everyone, my doctor has kindly got some blood tests forms for me to do as we are hitting the one year mark trying for no. 2 post-miscarriage. (Trying casually as I am away a lot due to work etc and it has been a very stressful year).
There are three forms, one is lots of stuff for days 3-5 of my cycle, another the expected progesterone day 21 test. Lastly a strange one that just says ‘C’ on it. Also a transvaginal ultrasound as I had a nightmare extra heavy period with huge clotting unexpectedly this month for 10 days with a migraine (don’t normally get migraines only once on the pill).
My confusion arises here:

  1. what is ‘C’ testing?
  2. why does she want the progesterone test 7 days before my expected period, my cycles are 26 days so that makes it day 19 which for me is only 5 days post ovulation. I thought it needs to be 7 days post ovulation.
  3. shall i go for the ultrasound after ovulation? Just curious as i read they can tell if you have ovulated, also it is easier to insert so less painful when i am most fertile so seems wiser? Any help will be appreciated and I will update in case it helps anyone. Thanks in advance
