Hey im hoping you informative lot on mumsnet can maybe shed some advice. I have a fairly regular period cycle of 28/30 days. Never normally goes outside of these days and always lasts 6 days. My partner and I use pull out method and know this certainly is not reliable and would welcome a a baby if it happened.

So my cycle is currently on day 45 with no sign of it coming. I've done 2 tests and they were negative. I haven't had any stress in my life and not on medication. About 2 weeks ago I got afew spots on my chin and assumed it was period related as this is the only time I get a spot normally but they disappeared. I've started googling and read briefly about anovulatory cycles and wondering If I am skipping a period ? Not sure if this is even a thing but it certainly hasn't happened before.

I from time to time feel my cervix and can normally tell by feeling it If my period is coming. My cervix doesn't feel low. My cervix is always slightly open as I have had two children but it doesn't feel as open as it would when having a period due.

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this ? I've phoned my Dr today they said leave it a week and do test again and then call back.

I'd rather just get my period and know what is going on with my body. Slightly worried now as I have a full feeling (only way I can describe) been constipated which I never get, been extra tired and urinating more.

If anyone can shed any light or experiences it would be appreciated!

Thank you
