Evaps on 3 different brands??

Flo and FF have given me 2 different dates fir ovulation. I usally go with FF but not convinced this month. Anyway, between the two i'd either be 9 or 12 dpo. So i got a faint line on a clear blue 2 days ago,following evening i did another and another faint line. These were after about 3-4 mins. Yesterday morning i did an frer, another faint line, and another slightly darker one lastnight. Now i've run out of decent tests until tomorrow so did a easy@home strip this morning and another faint line,there was no line on the one of these i did yesterday. Anyway, i'm completely confused. I'm paranoid of evaps and had a early loss in March so taking baby steps with these. Suppose i'm just looki g for either reassurance, or someone to tell me to get real 🤣

Got an frer. Didn't have a pot to pee in and i never pee on the stick, but had no choice. I don't think a lot of wee got on it because you coukd hardly see the dye going accross, not sure if that makes a difference. Anyway, i think it looks a little darker 🤔 still not as dark as i had hoped it would be though, but it's pink 🙄

I would be classing that as a positive. Honestly this time round the FRER all stayed really light for me until I was past 5 weeks pregnant, and my first one on the day of my missed period was the same lightness if not slightly lighter. I used a clear blue digital the next day and came back 1-2 weeks pregnant and I did one again a week later that was 2-3 weeks pregnant but my FRER stayed fairly light, a lot lighter then the ones were when I was pregnant with my daughter. We had a early scan and saw a little heart beat flickering away. Maybe there's a dodgy batch of FrER tests that just don't go very dark, even the one I did at 6 weeks wasn't a dye stealer whereas it was with another test.

@Gilm0reGirl Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. That has reassured me a lot! I think i'm going to give it another couple of days and do another, possibly Tuesday and see. I'm glad everything worked out for you. I like getting opinions, but sometimes these forums put the fear of god in to you! I've been quite anxious all weekend wondering if i am, if i'm not, if i am then something must be wrong! You have given me a lot of reassurance. Thank you xx

@MrsT8509 I know what you mean, there's always lots of bad stories and I get why, there's lots of people who have had evaps and chemicals. I am one of those people, I won't buy the clear blue tests because the blue lines gave me constant evaps on more then one occasion. I also suffer with chemical pregnancies easily so had assumed the delay in the test getting darker was perhaps bad news until that second digital because my FRER didn't change hardly at all that first week. This is my week 6 one would believe! That's why we went and had a scan and there it was flickering away all fine. I really hope you get more conclusive good news this week too x

Also while my week 6 FRER was like this, my clear blue one was saying 3+ weeks too, I'm convinced I had a couple of faulty boxes.

@Gilm0reGirl It's so bizarre isn't it. Who knew there was indents, evaps and faint lines before you start trying for a baby!? I've just ordered some 10miu strips to come tomorrow when i get home. I know they're not always the best, but get 20 and i must have spend £100 on cb and frer already this month 🫣 As much as we want a baby so much, i'd be happy to come on at this point, just to end the uncertainty! Xx

@MrsT8509 pleassseeeeeee can you pee in a pot first thing with your first pee of the day then go get another FRER? Yes I’m over invested but I truly think you’re pregnant and just testing not using first pre of the day! It’s still early days to be taking tests in the evening.

@Didyeaye 🤣 Yes boss! However, i am away in the middle of nowhere so can't get any for the morning now. I've got the strips coming off amazon tomorrow, and they're 10miu, so i'll do a good hold whilst driving home and do one when i get back. I'll then order some frer. I've never seen them in any shops/chemists near me!

Morning! So, i think they were just evaps and i dents. Done 2 different strips with same fmu and nothing on either exept dodgy indents! 🙄

Indents on every single brand across multiple tests would be odd surely. Maybe a very early chemical pregnancy. How late are you now?

I am so sorry😕 i do not think these were indents though, more likely the so called chemical pregnancy as the previous poster said as they definitely all looked positive.

Latest i should have had aunt flow was Sun, was due on Fri, but always give and take a few days because that's the pattern of my cycles, sometime a cew days early and others a few days late. I've had an early loss before, but i genuinely don't feel like this is. I've been getting like ewcm since fri, which would have been CD32, it's more sticky though, so now i'm even debating if i ovulated when flo and FF, and opk's said i did or just ovulating now! I don't bloody know. See what happens in the next week, i'll either start af or test get stronger. If neither, i'll ring gp xx

Hi @Kitty901. The plot took a right twist! Had ewcm for 5 days from last friday, which i though was odd. I did some opk's when i got home, all positive, and my temps whent up again which shows i ovulated Thursday just gone. Crazy cycle. Ovulated on cycle day 38! Never done that before! So just goes to show you can't always trust the test, and if you think it's an indent or evap, it probably is! Xx

Are you sure it really is ovulation? My ovulation tests were positive and this is how i found out i am pregnant (i didn't want to spent money on frer to turn out to nothing again and did opks instead) i am sorry i am not here to give hopes or anything but i just seriously thought you were pregnant, i am still confused how you can have had indents on all tests!

@MrsT8509 hello! How confusing. Did you do any proper tests after getting home or just the dip ones?
im still not convinced you won’t get a line if you do a ‘proper’ one!

If you're pregnant you will also get a positive OPK. So I don't think you should assume you're not pregnant- all your tests have lines from where I am.

@Kitty901 @Didyeaye I'm loving your persistance! 🤣 I did a clear blue weeks one that said not pregnant on Tuesday, at which point i would have been 3 days late. I did a clear blue one before i did the digital and there was the usual faint line within the time which just dried a thin blue line like they all have. I did a strip one tonight and there's an indent line, but nothing more. I've not had any pain or anything else to suggest it could be an ectopic or anything. I got ewcm, positive opks and a temp rise, so pretty sure it was late ovulation.

@AdamRyan I know. I drove myself mad for 2 weeks, but for the lines to not get dark can't possibly mean i'm pregnant with a viable pregnancy, if at all. Then with the ewcm that i had for 5/6 days, positive opks and the temp rise, i just joined the dots to conclude it was a very late ovulation x
