Hey guys, looking for some cycle partners to chat with!

How are you all feeling? I’m 3 dpo now and not many symptoms but it's early.

Slight niggling cramp this morning. Tiny amount of EWCM. Cervix position is high, soft and closed.

Had a chemical pregnancy last cycle but feeling very positive this cycle and wishing baby dust to all!

Hi guys,

This is my first month trying to conceive, I was away with DP and forgot to take my ovulation strips so went by my period app instead. I used a strip today when I got back and you could barely see a second line, so I'm assuming I'm past ovulation?
Also would someone be so kind to tell me what all the abbreviations mean?!

BFN on an frer this morning, maybe the faintest of squinters so prob an indent but counting myself out for now as surely it'd be stronger by now as had loads of symptoms, period due in four days, will test Friday on my bday so that I can have a drink! Pros and cons eh, hope everyone is okay x

@MillieKitty oooh that sounds promising, don't count yourself out just yet! If you think you see a squinter then it could defo be there. Also 4 days before period the line would still be super light. I dont think indents and evaps are as common as people make them out to be on mumsnet.

Hiya @cashmerecow, I also found the abbreviations mad when I first joined. Some of the common ones;
• FRER- First reaponse early response (type of preg test)
• BFP- Big fat positive
• BFN- Big fat negative
• AF- Aunt Flo (never liked this one 😂)
• DH- Dear husband
• DD- Darling daughter
• DS- Dear son
• OPK- Ovulation predictor kit

@Recordedsnape aw well I have edited it to make it stand out tbf!! I still reckon it's just an indent, im still keeping some hope that I just implanted later than most people, I always say to everyone else they're not out until AF so gotta give myself the same positivity, how you feeling?!

@Rosiearthur it's too faint to see any colour so I'm very sceptical but bless you thank you 😆 I'm 98% sure it's negative, I'll test fri morning just to check before I have a beer at the football 😂 hope you're feeling okay x

I'm in full symptom mode and it's so early. Got heartburn, sore boobs, waves of nausea, food aversion, headaches, insomnia, bloated and extreme fatigue it's crazy. Never had so many symptoms this early! I've booked a private 8 week scan for Oct 10th. I'll keep yous updated 🌈😊 xx

@Recordedsnape oh bless you having all those symptoms already; dont want to jinx myself but I've not felt any different yet.

How exciting about the private scan, Ive got one booked on 15th Oct! I wouldnt be able to wait 12 weeks. Ive actually got my first midwife app today aswell so all starting to feel very real.

@Beentheredunnthat I know it did cross my mind what if its twins lol but surely not. I've got midwife booked Oct and 12 wk scan for Nov but I couldn't possibly wait that long to check for a heartbeat! I need to know asap. Let us know how you get on xx

@Recordedsnape I am exactly the same, need to know before that. Will keep you updated and send pics, let us know how you get on aswell. Counting down the weeks 😂

@Recordedsnape Just watch out incase it turns into HG. Make sure you are well hydrated. I had HG with #1 and started being sick a few days before AF was due. I've only been sick once so far and AF is due tomorrow so hoping it won't be as bad this time.

I haven’t really had many symptoms yet! But my line progression has been good and darkened well so hoping all ok! Xx

AF has arrived! She's early which I'm actually glad about as it means my cycle has returned to normal 🤗 congrats to all the bfp's and good luck to all those still waiting xx

@Rosiearthur It depends where you are but in my area there is a window to the womb and they are meant to be very good! It costs £80 which I do think is a bit steep but Im still booking coz I just need to know all is well and cant wait another 8 weeks.

I also booked window to womb after looking at private scans - I have this booked for 16th October as I can’t wait until 12 weeks either - so should be around 8 and half weeks by then. I also received my first antenatal appointment and 12 week scan appoint so all feeling more real now! X
