Hey,

Please don't read and run, this is our bfp from this morning on a frer, but last night we did one it looked the same, we got a bit on clear blue (not digi) very faint, but then we got a not pregnant on clear blue digi last night also, I'm a day late for my period today, but I've spotted light pink this morning when wiping (nothing else and only minimal) would my test have not got darker overnight? Please help.

We got bfp on Cb but not the digital one*

I wouldn't expect it to be darker after one night especially if you tested in the evening when your urine was much more diluted than first thing in the morning. Test again tomorrow morning.

Also that's such a faint line that a digital test wouldn't pick it up yet, they are much less sensitive than FRERs

ChunkyLegsandKinderEggs · 27/08/2022 06:52

Digital tests need a higher level of hCG to work. It may be that you have ovulated a bit late and it’s still very early. I’m afraid all you can do is wait.

Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 07:03

I'm slightly worried about the tiny bit of spotting earlier though too it was minimal only when wiped and pink in colour but so strange for me to get a faint positive and this.

Hello, same as me - very faint line last night on frer (I think!) and 'not pregnant' on clearblue digital...

The digital ones need much higher HCG to pick a positive up. I would test in a few days.
Lots of people get spotting so could be implantation spotting. X

ER20 · 27/08/2022 09:01

Exactly what those above said, I’d test again in a few days with a digital, in my experience it’s taken a couple of days between positive on strip/FRER and clear blue. Hope it’s a BFP for you!

Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 09:18

@bellaolive that's just like mine! The wait truly kills you doesn't it fingers crossed in the next few days we get our cb pregnant x

Fingers crossed! As if the TWW isn't long enough 😁 How many DPO were you when you got your faint line?

ajg10 · 27/08/2022 09:21

I am 10 DPO and got this faint line on FRER but negative on CB digital. I’m worried it could be an evaporation line but it’s pink in colour on the stick!

bellaolive · 27/08/2022 09:22

Looks positive to me @ajg10 😊 was this FMU?

Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 09:23

@bellaolive I haven't been well the past few days with dizziness and things so I tested last night which is when af was due and that was my first positive then again this morning how about you x

OP posts:
Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 09:24

@ajg10 from what I've seen before it can only be an evap line if the test has been left longer than it should have, that to me looks positive! Xx

OP posts:
ajg10 · 27/08/2022 09:26

@bellaolive yes was FMU! It showed up within the minutes you’re supposed to wait for. I just wasn’t sure with it being so faint and then you start reading things on Google and you start to doubt everything 😂 thank you xx

ajg10 · 27/08/2022 09:27

@Bethpaigeox it didn’t show up initially but slowly started to show but was within the minutes you’re supposed to wait! I’ve just read things in Google that have made me think it’s evaporation and then the CB was “not pregnant” so told myself it was an evaporation line!! Should I wait a few more days to take another test do you think? Dx

Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 09:30

@ajg10 you sound like myself and @bellaolive situation, but apparently when they're so faint it means its too early to use cb digital because your hcg hasn't risen enough yet! Its so scary isn't it! My partner won't believe it till we have a pregnant one, we MC at 8 weeks end of last year so I'm just terrified that we will either have a mc soon or later x

OP posts:
ajg10 · 27/08/2022 09:34

@Bethpaigeox ah okay! I thought the CB were quite sensitive too! It is scary, and it’s just a big waiting game 😑 so annoying!
aww I’m sorry to hear that, I’ve experienced MC before and it’s heartbreaking. I have everything crossed for you x

Bethpaigeox · 27/08/2022 09:38

@ajg10 thank you so much! Its awful isn't it, there's no worse feeling! I though they were too but apparently not! Xx

Congratulations @Bethpaigeox Flowers!!!! I am on the way back from our trip and will test once home - can't pretend it's not all I've been thinking of the last 2 days! Hoping for the same as you 😊

PrettyIndigo · 28/08/2022 14:19

Just shows some people can get a bfp as late as 13 - 14 dpo ! And we don't all have blastocysts flying through our fallopian tubes at the speed of light and implanting at 6dpo 🤣 this has given me hope as I'm 13dpo and had a faint positive🤞

Bethpaigeox · 28/08/2022 14:31

@PrettyIndigo it sure does! I implanted late last time which sadly ended in mc but hopefully no trouble this time! A positive is a positive, im sure the line will darken in days mine was so faint to begin with.

OP posts:
Bethpaigeox · 28/08/2022 14:32

@bellaolive hopefully you'll get your digi soon! I know what you mean its on your brain 24/7 isn't it! I'm the same!

OP posts:
PrettyIndigo · 28/08/2022 14:57

I did a frer earlier that was negative :( was your frer negative at 13dpo @Bethpaigeox ? X

Bethpaigeox · 28/08/2022 15:05

@PrettyIndigo I think the first test that was around 11dpo was the very very faint one but all up till then were neg! You're not out, keep on testing! Xx
