Approx 13dpo - implantation bleed or AF

This is my first month off the pill, and we have decided to see what happens. Not actively “trying” but not preventing!

Not using OPK’s but I believe I ovulated Aron d 12/13th august, based on CM.

Have had pain in lower abdomen and sometimes back over the last week. Been feeling nauseas on and off and almost been sick several times!

Got up this morning and collected some of fmu to test - but had some pinkish blood when wiping! Wiped again to be sure and same thing!
Automatically thought it was AF arriving, carried on with the test anyway which was a bfn as expected.

However, haven’t had any bleeding since then, none on a pad and none when wiping!

Obviously I will wait and see what happens over the next few days but would you guys say AF or implantation?

Hi, just wondered what came of this as I'm 13dpo and got bfn yesterday but had brown spotting for a few days when wiping (but not every time i went to the loo) then creamy cm today. Af is due tomorrow.

Hi @Sb86, I had a few days or pink/brown when wiping and then AF arrived, bright red! So I’m onto cycle 2 now!

Thankyou for getting back to me, I'm sorry to hear your af arrived. At this stage for me it doesn't bother me so much as only just started trying so if my af arrives then so be it but it's the silly spotting and symptoms that may mean something or may not that annoy me. Drives me insane 😵‍💫

Good luck for this cycle. I will be testing Wednesday morning if af doesn't arrive tomorrow but I've got a funny feeling my body is playing tricks on me and af will no doubt arrive at some point in the next few days.

@Sb86 thank you! I think we are in a similar position - I wasn’t expecting to get a BFP as it was my first month TTC but then you notice all these symptoms and think maybe you could be!!

I’m not tracking ovulation as I don’t want it to be stressful, but I think I should ovulate towards the end of this week so will try to DTD every day….
Though typically today I’ve come down with a cold and am really tired so likely to be heading to bed after work…for sleep not pleasure 😂🙈

I was going to test in the morning as af not arrived today but curiosity got the better of me and I've got quite a few tests so thought bugger it. I've only gone and got 2 bfp, they aren't mega strong but strong enough to know they are positives! I can't quite believe it, I did feel like I could be but thought my mind was playing tricks. Now I'm trying not to get too excited as it's only early days...the stress is never over is it.
