Started asprin, progesterone and fragment for miscarriage

Hey there,

Just looking to see if anyone is in the same position really. I have a 2 year old and we have been TTC baby no 2 for 6 months. Ive had 4 miscarriages back to back and therefore was recently seen by infertility doctor who put it down to blood clotting factor and prescribed me asprin 75mg, progesterone pecessaries and also to commence blood thinner injections.

5 days into same and 8DPO.

@TTCBABYNO2xx Hi there. Pretty similar story over here. I've a 4 and 3 year old. Been TTC no 3 since this time last year. Had 2 MMC at 9 and 7 weeks. All basic tests have come back normal..thyroid etc. only test I didn't get was the clotting test as I found out I was pregnant again in June. I've been doing some research and spoke to my midwife - she technically couldn't 'advise' me to take aspirin but she'd recommend it. I'm currently 10+5. Have had 2 scans so far and fingers crossed all is ok. IVF been taking 75mg aspirin daily since around 6/7 weeks. I'm a bit concerned about any negatives to it though? Did your consultant say it was definitely ok? Xx

Yeah so infertility consultant prescribed 75mg asprin, alongside fragment injections (blood thinners) and progesterone. Congratulations on this pregnancy 10+5 is pretty good going and confident it will work out for you now given your further on.

I feel pregnant so hopefully dont get my period on monday and we shall see 🤞🏽

Also TTC #2 and had 2 back to back miscarriages both at 5.5 weeks.

Been given progesterone and I am going to take aspirin too.

So scared to try again. Do you feel nervous too?

@TTCBABYNO2xx good luck for testing on Monday! Have u any symptoms? Are you on aspirin now then? Or do u start it with BFP? I'm just worried that it could cause issues in early pregnancy as Google seems to give mixed responses as to whether to take it or not ( I know Google shouldn't be relied upon but it's hard to get a straight answer as I've not managed to speak to a specialist) x
