Hi everyone!

I have made a few threads recently regarding me and my partners ttc journey. We have been ttc number 1 for 2 years. Have recently had our first appointment with the fertility clinic.

Anyway... I'm 10dpo today, decided to just take a test with the usual mindset of "not sure why I'm bothering" after 2 years of not a single bfp!!!!

A faint but visible line came up within the 3 min mark and is still visible, I'm honestly in shock and don't think it could possibly be real so just hoping for some lovely people to help make me realise I'm not seeing things!!!!

Thank you so much x

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone with your lovely messages! I am so happy, I've just told my partner and he was so excited. We can't wait for this next chapter in our lives.

I'm calling the gp first thing tomorrow to tell them and to see if there is anything we can do regarding the low progesterone. Hopefully we can tackle that sooner rather than later.

Will definitely keep everybody updated!! 😊xx

@SunshineS1 good luck! Push push push for the progesterone if you need to. I remember Lacey turner (Stacey off EastEnders) talking about it in a talk show a few years ago and how important it was for her. It won't do any harm.

I will, thank you! I'm going to call first thing tomorrow, I'm assuming the gp will want to see me to prescribe me anything so that's on my to do list. I just want to minimise any risk at all with this being our first positive in 2 years! X

Just wanted to see if anybody had some advise about this low progesterone!

Rung GP this morning, receptionist said I'd have to speak to gp about it but no appointments until 8th September. So I've tried 4 times to call hospital and speak to department who has been dealing with my fertility side of things/tests etc. Cant get through...

I've text a community midwife to go through next steps but I'm none the wiser on the low progesterone and don't want to start panicking!!!

@SunshineS1 congratulations!
can you see a doctor privately? NHS didn’t want to prescribe progesterone as they didn’t see the need but the private one (gynaecologist and who does early pregnancy scans) did and said it’s important to take it as it supports pregnancy.
Don’t panic though.

Not sure but you could try ringing the early pregnancy unit at the hospital?
