AF 2 days late cycles v regular! But BFN

So my cycles are so regular, they're almost always 25-26days long and I'm now at the end of cycle day 28 and still no AF, I took a test this afternoon but was a BFN! Is AF just messing with me and coming late for the first time ever or is there still a chance of a BFP? I felt really crampy a few days ago and like AF was imminent, but now I don't feel like AF is coming, no cramps or any of my normal symptoms of AF. Feeling very confused 🥴 any advise welcome, TIA xx

@Lottie1081 That really sounds like pregnancy symptoms, especially the tiredness. Hope you get the tests before your son! How old is he?

@Noteventhebirdsareupyet hes 20!!!! I had him at17 and now I feel ancient and going through it all again is scaring the 💩out of me! He will be fine though we have a good relationship

Ahh Thankyou …. Just a waiting game now .i told my OH because I wldnt let him touch my boobs !!!! He was jumping round like he’d won the lotto - I told him I hadn’t got a positive yet and his response was well when u get it can I touch them for good luck !- MEN!!!!

This happened to me this month. AF just came three days later than usual and I just had to chalk it up to something that does happen once in a while.

Hey @HeyDuggeesFavouriteSquirrel it’s so hard isn’t it I’ve never been late , Mother Nature is testing my patience more than my accounts team !!

Noooooo I'm spotting now or maybe my period is starting. Think maybe the string of extremely faint positives was not a good sign and this isn't meant to be. Never had any bleeding in my other pregnancies, so it's not looking good. Absolutely gutted. X

@Noteventhebirdsareupyet I had some spotting with my last pregnancy and everything was ok so keeping fingers crossed for you.

No new symptoms today other than getting up this morning was a real struggle!

i fell asleep in a meeting this afternoon didn’t have my camera on so don’t think they knew!! My neighbour is having a bbq and the smell is making me feel so sick I’ve had to close my doors and windows . I’m just waiting to do a test I want to do it so bad but don’t want disappointment

Anyone have any news? Any BFPs? @Noteventhebirdsareupyet your lines get any darker? @SJR86 did AF show up or did you get a BFP? Anyone else with any news? I'm due to ovulate in the next 3-4days. I'm not tracking but this is going by what the Flo app says so gunna get busy with DH 😉🥰

@Carysmatic AF showed up today. I'm actually thrilled it's here - this month I'm going to make more of an effort to track my cycle!!

@SJR86 sorry to hear that hun, but at least you know either way. It's horrible when stuck in limbo with no AF but BFNs! Hope you have better luck next cycle xx

@Carysmatic Thanks for your message. I'm assuming I had a chemical last month because I had a good 4 faint positives before a really heavy period which came a week late. I don't mind too much because I was able to have my operation which I've been waiting a while for.

@SJR86 Sorry to hear that, was hoping for good news from you. Onwards and upwards this month for us all!

I'm wondering if my cycle is going to be a bit messed up this month after a late period but who knows. I've ordered some ovulation strips for this month.

@Noteventhebirdsareupyet that's a shame but I guess a silver lining in regards to the operation. I had a chemical when trying for my first, literally had it the cycle before falling pregnant with my DD, I have heard that you're more fertile after a chemical/loss something to do with there still being some level of HCG in your body but definitely seemed to be the case after my chemical, so fingers crossed for you xxx

@Carysmatic Yes I've heard that you can be extra fertile the month following a chemical. Really need to stop getting my hopes up before I've even ovulated! 🤣

Do you get clear ovulation signs from your body usually? I tend to know because breastfeeding becomes painful for me around ovulation.

@Noteventhebirdsareupyet I tend to get a lot of CM around ovulation, usually for about 3-4 days in the middle of my cycle but that doesn't really indicate the exact day that I ovulate but tends to coincide with the Flo apps ovulation predictions. I used ovulation tests when trying for my DD, but kinda want to take more of a relaxed approach this time. I never really noticed a change in breastfeeding when I was feeding but then I wasn't tracking my cycles when I was still breastfeeding. DD is 2.5yrs now and we stopped BF at 21months, but I definitely did get random bouts of sore nipples when BFing, it may have been around ovulation but couldn't possibly say now 🤷🏼‍♀️
