Mat leave coming to an end.. start TTC #2?

I return to work next week after the best year off on mat leave. In the last month I have gone from not being ready to be pregnant again any time soon to all of a sudden feeling the desperate urge to get pregnant again. It’s obviously due to wanting another baby but also swayed by not wanting to be at work for long 😅 is anyone else in the same boat? I think I’m going to stop taking my pill on almost my first day back 😂

@FTMFML 😂 it depends what you do as a job I suppose! I hate my job so much that mat leave is like actual heaven in comparison 🙈

I found out i was pregnant 2 weeks after returning to work from mat leave

Similar boat! I'm due back in December and we are having some "oops" moments the last few months 😂my DSis gets married next October though so jan-mar/april will be off the table to try

You know exactly how you feel! I've been back 4 months after 18 months off (shielding and Mat leave) and now we're ttc our 2nd baby. You definitely know when you're ready xx

Was a big surprise! I was on contraception

I was due back when my DD was 10 months, a week before going back I found out I was pregnant. So ended up just staying off as we could not afford nursery for both of them.
My DD is now 12 months old and next baby due end of Jan.

I have a friend who is constantly on mat leave. Currently expecting twins to go with her other 3 kids.
