I’m currently not on any contraception I had my period two weeks ago was taking ovulation tests and didn’t have a positive one at all, was thinking a late ovulation then I started my period again, it’s really heavy, and I’ve been feeling sick. I’m confused? Never had two in a month!!!

Yes, but only when peri menopausal.

Not trying to conceive but title caught my eye. I have short cycles so this happens to me once or twice a year.

@Itsnotthesameasitwas hope not, I’m only 35 and 2 years ago the doctor done tests and said I wasn’t peri menopausal 😭

Yeah I have. Few times. Usually after covid jags as they seem to bring me forward for some reason.

I would expect its that but you can always drop your gp a line if you're concerned. Although thinking of it, a pharmacist or nurse can probably answer this too

I did in the month after both of my Covid vaccinations.

Yeah I had 2 periods in one month maybe 6 month ago, I mentioned it to my GP and she said sometimes it just happens, but if it were to continue onto a second month then go back to GP x

This has happened to me 3 times since I came off the pill (nearly 2 years ago). 12 days or so later I will have another super heavy and painful period. I’m 26 so I’m nowhere near peri menopausal.
