Is this a period or implantation bleeding? Please help!

I’ve always had really regular periods until last month which I was 3 days late for. I track on an app but am so consistent. This month I am a day early but I don’t have my usual period pains. The bleeding is also very light pink and I don’t need to wear a pad or a tampon. I feel like I have a uti but my test is negative and I have been very emotional with sore boobs. We have only had sex once this month which was unprotected but after my fertile window. I’m so confused as we want a second baby and plan to start trying soon. Please help me figure out what is going on. I only have one pregnancy test which isn’t a cheap one so don’t want to waste it.

It would be very late implantation if a day before AF due but depending how long your LP is it could be possible. If you had sex more than a day after you ovulated it can’t be pregnancy,

saying that as you don’t track ovulation with opk’s or anything then you may have ovulated later than usual this cycle (it happens) so you did have sex in your fertile time and it’s implantation

At the moment there’s no way to tell. If it’s implantation in 2-3 days you should get a clear positive test. If you ovulated late and not pregnant then AF will also be late. Or it could be the lead up to AF as you’re due tomorrow.
