Hi everyone! Penny for your thoughts:)
Coming to the end of yet another 2WW, (ttc 18months or so) lots of symptom spotting this time ...AF due tomorrow and I'm not feeling anything out of the ordinary, however, I have been tired, run down, last weekend I was on the couch with an upset tum (no nausea as such - but i was very 'out of sorts' shall we say!) was feeling lightheaded standing up, I felt i was having really turbulant dreams/sleep pattern all wonky. Heartburn.
But then I could rattle off a number of causes to attribute it all to. Stress from deadline pressure (3 days of MIL just to add)... I had tender boobs but not to bad now, just enlarged but not majorly.

I just wondered about duration in terms of early symptoms as I feel a lot better now so I just figured well it can't have been an 'early sign' or I'd still have all that... or are there have others experienced a similar comings/goings?
Any insight v much appreciated:)

Good morning lovely, I found that I was symptom spotting monthly and adamant I was pregnant each month! This month I didn't even think I was pregnant, it got to 8dpo where I cried because I deleted an email where I thought "that's not like me" I got a faint positive at 8dpo but no other symptoms until around 12dpo where I had hunger and insomnia (which I still have hence up at 5am on a Saturday 😂)!

Your body can definitely play tricks on you but each woman is different, how many dpo are you now? Xx

Morning @xttcbabyno1x Thanks so much for your reply!

I think I'm 12dpo, I do LH tests, I seem to have a really short sharp spike in LH then its gone by the next day- we felt we caught it in good time this month, i tried using fertilily cup a few times, plus DH has been on meds to boost his motility and his tests have come back 'optimal' so anticipation just a little higher this month:)

Oh dear, insomnia doesn't sound like fun but I guess it can be productive! I hope you're able to rest today, thanks again! xx

@Sœtr hm symptom spotting can be such a headf**k. I am on cycle #3 TTC now and was convinced I had fallen each of the last two times, so I am going to try and not do that this time round. Easier said than done, of course.
I have no experience of this but my logic is telling me if that because progesterone levels do not dip in a pregnant person, and hcg then kicks in to oform the placenta, then symptoms should get more pronounced and not improve as the pregnancy goes on. Hope this helps x

I’ve had quite a few months where I convinced myself of pregnancy because of ‘weird’ symptoms only to welcome AF: certain twinges/pains, nausea, upset stomach, big boobs, cervix position, period starting oddly etc etc. My only real signs were 1) late period and 2) feeling crushingly exhausted, like I was drugged, at the same time. Good luck to you x

Hi @NatGee thanks so much for your reply:)
Yeah its not easy! I just become so introverted from people and constantly try finding ways to distract myself, when I'm feeling super anxious/obsessed I read through posts on here which can be very comforting. This is actually my first time posting as this is the most I've felt I had reason to suspect.
I've just been gutting spare room/cupboard understair - even creating a 'guide to under the stair' poster for DH😂
Just had a dizzy spell/hot flush/sweat
But maybe psychosomatic.
(I'm in the Hebrides under that big band of cloud so although its mild we don't have heatwave like a lot of other places!)

Thanks again for your input. Good luck for your next cycle! Xx

I've just realised how atrocious my grammar was on my post sorry about that. What I was trying to say is as progesterone remains elevated in a pregnant person, then I don't think symptoms get any better.
The Hebrides sound lovely, it must be so nice living there. Hope to visit one day xx

@NatGee totally didn't notice your grammer, mine definitely has a lot left to be desired!
Got ya, I read about the old progesterone, will just hang tight i guess. No AF yet so far so good!
Hebrides are great except when there's midgies like there are now 😅Xx
