Can you ovulate with HCG still in your system?

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks starting two weeks ago, I just stopped bleeding three days ago and still have a faintly positive pregnancy test.

I've been feeling a bit saucy, which surprised me given the grim circumstances 😳I've been tracking with OPKs and they've gone from completely negative to blazing positive, and today I've had some (blood streaked) ewcm.

Is it actually possible I'm fertile??

I think you may have to have 0 hcg to ovulate but I could be wrong! OPKs can sometimes pick up any lingering pregnancy hormones and can give you positive OPKs.

Best bet is to phone a local early pregnancy unit (I have also had miscarriages so have done this previously) and ask them as they'll be the experts. I have asked for a scan before too as sometimes your body treats the MC like like period and sometimes it takes longer to adjust and ovulate again.

Sending you lots of baby dust and hope you will have your rainbow baby soon 🌈 x
