First round of letrozole

Hello everyone.

This is my first round of letrozole @ femara. Was injected with trigger shot on last 26th July to time the ovulation.

I want to know if my last trigger shot would cause false positive hpt if I were to test today @ dpo 8?

Hi there, it differs from person to person but the HCG can still be in your system 10-12 days after the shot. I know it's torture but I'd recommend waiting until the recommended 14 dpo to test.

Yes from my experience at 8 dpo there is still leftover. I think from 12 dpo you might be more certain that is out of your system...

However, ifff my opk is tested negative by now, can we count that the hcg shot might already leave my body? Hmm

Opk test tracks LH hormone, I wouldn't rely on it for HCG. Good luck, its not easy waiting...
I just finished my second letrozole cycle, ovulation confirmed both times ( blood test) but no luck yet...

Roughly 11 dpo as of today. And past 12 days of trigger shot... i caved for a test this morning, well thought of seeing faintest line.. but not sure if it's all just in my headBlush no symptoms whatsoever too... waiting really is the hardest. Period is due for another 5 days Sad

I guess you just have to keep testing to know for sure. Did you test again this morning?

I did one cycle of letrazole with a trigger shot and waited until 14 dpo to test - it was really hard but when I did test there were 2 indisputable lines.

Anyway what dose was your prescribed letrozole?

Ive tested this morning and it was pretty rough, no hint of second line. 5 days to period, still hoping although it doesnt seem to be itSad

First cycle of Letrozole was BFN and i came on period days ago. Today is period day 3 and had retrieved another batch of Letrozole from my fertility clinic.

Moving on to second cycle of Letrozole @ Femara Wink

@Blossom22 unfortunately i didnt get pregnant on my second cycle of it. My partner and i thought about having a break for a while. We might consider doing IUI when we resume our session Blush
