Any way to make periods more regular?

TTC for #1 having been on the pill for years. Came off 6 months ago. Periods are all over the shop. Went on the pill years ago to regulate them as one of the reasons. How on Earth do you TTC when they range from 6-11 weeks?!
Please don't suggest to go see a GP. I'm 31 and only been trying for 6 months so they don't think its an issue from a fertility point of view yet and already on the waiting list to see gynae about something else.
Has anyone else experienced this/ anything I can try in the mean time?
At the moment just trying to live a healthy lifestyle (eat well, exercise, minimal alcohol etc).
Thanks for reading.

Acupuncture was the only thing that regulated mine. Took about 6-8 weeks. I was amazed but once I stopped they reverted to being completely unpredictable then became regular again once I re-started the acupuncture.

You'll need to get to the root cause of your irregular cycles. Could be a number of things for example, PCOS.

You asked us not to say it but you'll eventually have to go see your GP for bloods.

No idea how to help with regulating periods but have you tried ovulation predictor kits so you know when to DTD?

My cycle was all over the place, ranging from 40-60 days - I have PCOS. After about 3 months of regular acupuncture (weekly) and taking MyOva vitamins (have a Google, I can't remember much info about them as it was a while ago) and using an OvuSense device to track ovulation my periods were like clockwork and I got pregnant!

Good luck x
