CB Digi result reduced from 2-3 weeks to 1-2

Hi all.

I'd been receiving 2-3 weeks results on the CB digital tests and now I've just done two (one last night and one this morning) which are showing 1-2. I'm now terrified.

I had just taken a good dose of B1 suppliment that does change your urine to a yellow colour and I think makes it a different consistency (I'd forgotten about that before taking) so wondering if it could be that.

I was bleeding brown blood after finding out we were pregnant which is why I've still been testing. But a midwife I spoke too from calling the 111 line assures me this is completely normal and happens to hundreds of pregnant women.

I'm so confused, has anyone else had the cb digis change? I tried this morning as thought the pregnancy hormone would be stronger xx

The weeks' indicator is notoriously unreliable. I once got a 1-2 and a 2-3 from the same sample. Don't waste your money - the test can't tell you anything about the health of the pregnancy, just that you are. Good luck Flowers

Thank you so much. This is so helpful. They really to seem to cause a huge amount of anxiety xx

How far along are you?

Im sorry to say but my experience when this happened to me wasn't a happy ending. I did do lot of googling and found some happy outcomes so I hope you are one of those people

Westsussex · 30/07/2022 15:02

I'm still very early on, almost 6 weeks from first date of last period. Thank you for your honesty and I'm so sorry for what you went through. I also searched all over and I've realised now there is just no way of knowing without maybe blook tests or some type of scan. I left a voicemail on the early pregnancy unit phoneline. I'll assume they'll call me on Monday to tell me if and where I can have bloods. It's a hard time isn't it xx

I’m sorry you’re worried @Westsussex. Can’t comment on digis but I’ve had light brown blood bleeding and spotting a few times weeks 4,5 and 7 - so much so that I went for a scan week 8 to find out ‘the truth’. The little one was perfectly fine with a strong HB. Sonographer didn’t see the source and said most likely implantation bleeding taking it’s time to come out. Fingers crossed for you x

Blankbias · 30/07/2022 15:49

I’ve found digital weeks indicators reliable for me, they predicted my miscarriages and recently my ectopic. I would try and get an early scan to reassure yourself.

Thank you, I'm really pleased you found your bleeding was implantation. The midwife also said to me the uterus expands releasing old blood which was interesting xx

Thank you, I'm definitely going to ask for an early scan on Monday when someone calls me back. I just want to know now, the anxiety is awful isn't it. Thanks again xx

@Westsussex I've had the exact same thing, tested Tuesday and got 1-2 weeks, tested again Thursday and got 2-3 weeks then tested again this morning and got 1-2 weeks again!

I've had brown discharge (sorry TMI) on and off since the beginning of the week, I phoned my local EPU this morning and I went in for blood tests, just waiting to get the results now!

Westsussex · 30/07/2022 16:43

@HakunaMatata4 oh really, it's great you've been offered bloods as I know it's often implantation bleeding when that happens but at least you will have an answer instead of waiting!

I've been properly bleeding but wasn't offered anything, I'm going to ask for bloods or a scan tomorrow. The worrying is too much to wait another 7 weeks for our 12 week scan. I really hope everythings ok for you xxx

I wasn't sure if they would test me but they were really good about it when I said I was concerned. I had a scan too but it's too early for anything to show up! I think I'm around 4 weeks (irregular periods so can't be certain yet) and my bloods have just come back 90.94, which she said was low but they want to test me again on Friday so I now need to play the waiting game!

Yes definitely push for blood tests, atleast then you can get some peace of mind, there's nothing worse than worrying and convincing yourself something bad has happened!xx

cantcomplainabouttheweather · 30/07/2022 16:55

Unfortunately they were always accurate in predicting my miscarriages - have to say they are more accurate than people think / I had blood tests alongside using them and they were always accurate in terms of what "level" it showed. That being said for some people they just don't seem to be as accurate as different womens bodies metabolise hcg in urine differently to others

mummatara · 30/07/2022 19:24

If the EPU won't give you blood tests I have used an online company called medichecks to get hcg blood tests done. It wasn't cheap £50 a test but they were very good and came back quickly

@cantcomplainabouttheweather I'm sorry to hear about your experiences, I do feel my signs are pointing in that direction too, due to the bleeding as well as the tests. Xx

@mummatara we were literally just looking at private early scan options, but I didn't know I could arrange my own bloods and that could be more accurate as I know very early scans can't always see and confirm thank you. I'm going to look into this now xx

@Westsussex I just remembered they sent me an offer email I'll attach

CB Digi result reduced from 2-3 weeks to 1-2
Westsussex · 30/07/2022 20:40

@mummatara you are so kind thank you! I was literally just looking at that extact company. I can order tomorrow and have a test for Tuesday. Best to get an answer xx

@Westsussex good luck I hope all is ok 🤞🏼

pangolin84 · 30/07/2022 22:36

@Westsussex How long was it between the 2-3 and 1-2 test results?
When this happened to me in my first pregnancy it sadly ended in miscarriage. I did another test a couple of days after getting the surprise 1-2 (was expecting a 3+) and that one said not pregnant. I then experienced quite heavy and painful period-like bleeding that same day.

Westsussex · 30/07/2022 22:40

@pangolin84 I was literally testing each day, as I'd started to bleed a few days after getting our positive result. So it went down yesterday and is the same again today. I've prepared my husband now and we're looking to order a private blood test to save waiting. It seems there's just no way of actually knowing until we get bloods or have a very early scan. I'm so sorry to hear about what you went through xx

Westsussex · 03/08/2022 13:08

I have taken a test today which is showing as not pregnant, I'm devastated to say it was a miscarriage for me. It was the first time I'd been pregnant so I had no idea what was happening.

Hopefully we'll be able to get pregnant again soon.

Thank you all for your support, the nhs couldn't have cared less xx
