Morning after pill - but have I already ovulated?

hi there

ive taken the morning after pill yesterday after DH didn’t pull out the night before. We have two kids already, 9yrs and 18 months. I have a feeling I’d already begun ovulating when intercourse took place (day 9 of cycle, clear sticky discharge), took the pill on day 10 of cycle ( had no symptoms of pill being taken, no nausea, cramping etc) and more discharge today day 11 along with dull pain on left side of abdomen.

is there a chance the pill is totally void? I suppose I’m just asking if you think I’ve already begun ovulating? I’ve read that it won’t work if this is the case. This is my first time taking the morning after pill in our 15 year relationship. No other contraception since last baby was born

If you've already ovulated it's likely ineffective

Go to your GP or health clinic and ask for the IUD instead.

I threw out the box once I had it taken but I’m Almost sure it was the Levonorgestrel one

My best friend had sex on predicted ovulation date - took MAP but it didn't work x
