Cd 1 - mid/end August testers

AF arrived last night so we are officially on cycle 2 of ttc #4 🥰

Arrived a week late but think this is due to mirena coil removal and my body sorting itself out.

Fertile days are expected from August 10th, probably testing from the 20th with AF due again on the 27th!

Anyone cycle buddies testing mid to end of August 😁

I'll be testing around 11th currently on CD14 😀

Hi OP. My dates are virtually the same as yours. AF expected 31 July with fertile days starting around 9 July and AF due on 28 August.

This is cycle 1 TTC #1. Copper coil was removed earlier in the month so cycle should already be normal 🤞 have been tracking with OPKs this month but contemplating buying the clear blue ovulation kit having heard so many positive stories. Hate the waiting and feel so out of control right now. Have read about the benefits of grapefruit juice so starting that now, stupidly helps me feel like I'm doing something as I wait 🤣

@Originalusername123 I'm using the CB kit this month have previously used strip OPKs gotta say I'm loving them so far much much easier 😂 though I have had 7 days of flashing smileys now which is frustrating

@mummatara the OPKs are so addictive but I drink so much water throughout the day and work is unpredictable so it's not ideal. Doesn't stop me testing right enough, love checking for the tiniest progress 🤣 seven days of flashing smileys would definitely drive me mad because I'm so impatient. Have you stopped using OPKs completely? I see people say they supplement in the afternoons. You'll need to update how you get on with CB. SiL had success first month with it (after almost two years trying) so I've got high expectations. Wishing you a speedy time til testing 🤞

@Originalusername123 haha it is addictive 😂 I can't do them at work so FMU is ideal for me. I do a strip one about 6.30pm but I'm not sure how effective it is because like you I'm alway drinking water and it looks like water not wee despite holding for a couple of hours 🙄 unfortunately I think I've only had 7 days worth because I had a MC in June and I think it's whacked my cycle/hormones a bit not that I was super regular anywhere between 24-31 days.

I'm so impatient too I just want it to hurry up and happen

Am I OK to join? Currently on cycle 2 ttc#3. I'll be testing around the 16th I think. I'm a bit nervous as I'm a bit older now than when I had my first two and I had a MC towards the end of last year too. I took some time out after that but ready to try again now. Wishing you all lots of luck ♥️

Its been 6 years since our last. Decided to wait until our wedding before ttc but covid postponed things got married 2 months ago so finally ttc #4 lol

I can't get the hang of opks i tried opk last month but by my eyes they were all negative so I've no idea if I ovulated or just can't read them 🤣 im thinking digital maybe the way for me haha.

Impatiently waiting for AF to finish but got to test out the flo pants I bought 🤣

Ah I know that feeling @mummatara. I’m 37 now but will be at least 38 before any potential baby comes along! I know people have babies older than this but I still kind of feel like I need to get on with it!

I think AF has gone was super light yesterday so hopefully that was the end, we have a festival this weekend so would prefer it to stay away haha

Morning! How are we all doing? I'm on cycle day 14 today so just heading into the tww. I think I'll probably start testing around the 12th.

CD11 here but my fertile week is next week by ovia. Not sure when to start opk testing don't want to miss my window but not sure if I trust ovia or flo yet

@Olearia That's a good idea! hope the TWW is nice to you! I'm 8dpo today - various symptoms already but not even sure what they indicate... so tired today, had waves of sickness last few days, backache, dizziness, tender boobs, emotions - it's all going on haha! AF is due on the 8th..

@NatalieSF I would start testing now if you're not sure when you would normally ovulate the apps take a general idea but the longer you use them and the more data you put into them the better they are at predicting your fertile window. Did you go for digitals in the end or strips?

Went for digitals, got the clearblue ones from amazon..ended up doing an opk after I posted and its negative.

I have a few strip tests I might use over the next few days and use the digitals one as the line gets stronger as I don't want to waste them haha

AF due on 13th for me, currently 2dpo 💜

@NatalieSF you have to use the CB digitals every day so first test is a baseline and it measures your tests after that against your first. When you get a flashing smiley it's detected a rise in your oestrogen hormone and a static detects your LH surge I had a flashing smiley for 8 days it was hell 😂 they say one you get a flashing to test twice a day but I only did that when my strip opk looked like it was getting close to being peak.

The whole thing confuses me haha thank you..so my opk this morning was a smiley but app says not fertile till next week so glad I started using them lol so I just test every day now till it flashes?

@NatalieSF Noo lovely if it's just a static face (not moving) it means you're ovulating soon that's basically your peak!! Get DTD!! Xxx

@NatalieSF oh exciting better get BD 😂 out of interest have you done a strip opk to go alongside the CB? I find it hard to go by the apps even though mine has a lot of data in it I seem to ovulate at different times each month so it's really hard for it to pin point ovulation and fertile window. If I had listened to it this cycle i would have prob been out I ovulated 4 days earlier than it said I would.

I had the same idea and did a strip opk. Pretty sure this is positive but correct me if I'm wrong.

How is everyone else getting on?

@NatalieSF is that One Step? I'm not a fan of them as they never appear dark but for one step I would say yes xx
