I've been ttc over a year with absolutely no luck. AF was due on the 15th (last Friday) and I am never late - my last years worth of cycles have been (weirdly) exactly 27 days. However, this one was 5 days late. I received 2 BFN during this time so didn't think it was preg related, but had the strangest of pains. At first it was mild almost scraping sensation, but cut to day 5 of being late and the cramping was so painful and heavy feeling inside. As I was contemplating what to do I realised I had a really really light period (I think) - it's not progressed to what I would consider normal, but the pain has subsided a bit but still just feel a bit rotten and just don't know what's wrong with me.
I am going out of the country tomorrow and am so scared it's some kind of ectopic pregnancy and it's going to get worse. And the other half of me thinks I am winding myself up? Does anyone have any wisdom on what could cause a late v light period, neg test and pain?
