Anyone else ‘lost’ their CM since having a baby?

Just that really 😳
since having a baby, I don’t get as much CM, and there’s less ‘distinction’ between regular and fertile CM. It used to be a really reliable and clear indicator of where I was in the cycle, not any more. Does anyone else have this?

Gosh I thought this was going to be about childminder 😂
How old is your baby? I can't say mine has changed much, I still get the different phases of CM and my youngest just turned 1. Maybe your cycle needs time to settle.

Oh, sorry! Haha! She’s 3 😕 so definitely not a baby!

You're not alone here! My DD is 3 and I never get ewcm anymore! There isn't much difference at all through my whole cycle. I've had it confirmed by the doctor that Im still ovulating though which was my main worry!

Wouldloveanother · 18/07/2022 22:09

Thanks Nita! I guess ovulating was my worry, that it was just the CM changing rather than a lack of ovulation causing it!

Yes! After my first it all but disappeared, then since my second (7 months old), I’m back to teenage years (lots and lots of the stuff). It’s like my body is saying “hey, she’s still into baby making, let’s go” 🤣

Although, there didn’t appear to be much going on we fell easily with second (2nd month trying).

Wouldloveanother · 18/07/2022 22:25

Thanks Chickin, here’s hoping that will happen for me! It’s strange isn’t it a baby seems to reset the body completely

Me too! I have a 3 year old and had it prior to pregnancy.

I'm 36 and put it down my age. I used to be able tell when I was ovulating but have months where I can no longer pin point it.

LittleDoveLove · 18/07/2022 22:32

Mine went up and down but almost stopped last few months. I have taken evening primrose up to ovulation this month and had loads more!

Wouldloveanother · 18/07/2022 22:39

interesting! I mean it’s not bothering me not to have any, I was just concerned it was a sign of a hormone imbalance or similar. I’ve been using a healthy dollop of preseed instead!

I'm the opposite after dd2 it's ridiculous like my body saying hurry up times ticking for number 3 🤪 I don't want a number 3 though 🤣 x

🤣🤣🤣

I’d same I’m the same and had been using preseed to conceive (mainly because we were ‘trying’ so often and it became a bit of a chore) 🙈 so I still use that now. Went back on the pill though, coming off again soon
