hi everyone, for those who has been pregnant before or is pregnant when did the nausea & being sick start for you, my period is 6 days late and i got a BFN at 4dpo so i just left it but i just woke up 20 minutes ago feeling really hungover and as if i’m going to be sick so i run to the toilet and i was sick everywhere. this is REALLY shocked me i never ever throw up unless i'm actually hungover or have a stomach bug, i acc can't believe i woke up and threw up for no reason i feel fine now..... i have no other symptoms other than a break out on my chest and face and i really don't feel AF is coming on... should i re test or does this nausea not happen this early? xx

Re-test. Definitely. My sickness started 2 days before I was pregnant with DC age 3. TTC baby no 2 now - retest, I used Tesco’s own at 4 days late and had a nice clear positive. Good luck OP!

I felt horribly sick at what I now realise was the time of implantation. Tested 8 days later when I was 3+5 and got BFP on a First Response. Obviously you must do what is right for you, but if it was me I’d decide on a Test Day when it’d definitely be positive if it was going to be and not test before. Then you’ll refrain from doing tonnes of early tests and being disappointed. Good luck! 💜

4DPO is far too early to test so no wonder it was negative

girlshelpxx · 14/07/2022 09:07

thanks ladies, i’ll test today & sorry i meant 4 days late period not 4 dpo 🤣

I was sick 24/7 from ten days PO.

misskatamari · 14/07/2022 09:28

I felt shite from before I even missed a period. Sick and exhausted, hence testing and getting a positive.

🤣 I wondered why you tested so early then decided you were out

How are you confirming ovulation?

Babyboomtastic · 14/07/2022 10:03

With my first I felt sick around the time my period was due, with my second, about a week before it was due.

I know that shouldn't be possible, but my spd (really severe) babe has also before my period was due, and on the day it's my missed period the test came up as 3+ weeks. My dating scan put me forward a week, so I was 5.5 weeks whem my period was due.

OrianaBanana · 14/07/2022 10:11

Twice when I was pregnant weirdly enough I threw up a boiled egg at the point just around my missed period. From then on I felt very sick.

Jericha · 14/07/2022 11:54

This pregnancy I had a random hour of fleeting moments of feeling like I was about to vomit, but felt absolutely fine in myself. That was 3 days before I started getting bfps.

Bella9992 · 14/07/2022 21:27

My nauseous started about 7dpo, 6 days before I tested positive. Same happened with my previous two pregnancies (1DD and 1MC) so it can definitely start v early!

girlshelpxx · 15/07/2022 17:17

BFN :(. period is now 7 days late i just don't feel as if it's coming what's so ever. definitely not pregnant then. really believed i was after being sick because that's not like me at ALL. feeling much better today..... the test i took was a clear blue 6 days before your period and i'm now a week late so defo no pregnant... am i right in saying i would defo have a positive now if i was pregnant? x

You probably ovulated late if you haven't got
Your period yet. Do u test for ovulation?

girlshelpxx · 18/07/2022 18:07

sounds as if late ovulation could of happened. i tested for ovulation when i was supposed to be ovulating and they were negative so i just stopped testing so i must of started ovulating later.... period is now 10 days late i haven't tested since..... if i did ovulate late... is pregnancy possible?

As long as you DTD around the time of ovulation, even if that ovulation was much later than expected, you're in with a chance.

girlshelpxx · 22/07/2022 08:43

14 days late, still negative tests and serious nausea!!! woke up last night throwing my guts up i don't get what's happening :(

@girlshelpxx any luck?

im 5 weeks+1 and I’m having very infrequent and very mild nausea. It was worse last week but then I got cramps and sharp pains and it all seemed to reduce…

Bee15 · 29/07/2022 22:56

Hi @girlshelpxx how you doing? I’m currently over 10 days late for AF and getting BFN. Going to retest over the weekend in case of late ovulation. x

girlshelpxx · 30/07/2022 00:59

22 days late STILL bfn, don't get it tbh almost a full month :(

Both times I was puking before the pregnancy test was positive. It’s very possible to be sick this early.

gingerninja85 · 03/08/2022 11:33

Did you find you had MS badly for the rest of the pregnancy?

im panicking that I’m in for an awful ride. Tried for baby number two this month and at 4dp I’ve been feeling nauseous with severe diarrhoea. I’m hoping it’s a tummy bug rather than pregnancy but it feels just like morning sickness. My first pregnancy I had a great time with barely any negative side effects so naturally I was hoping for the same 😭

curliegirlie · 03/08/2022 11:44

Do you track bbt OP? Are you certain ovulation has actually taken place? Might be worth ordering a bbt thermometer if not so you can start working out what's going on...

NatGee · 03/08/2022 16:57

Let us know how you're getting on?
Someone on a different thread said someone they know got BFNs for ages past their AF due date. It appears for it to be possible
