Very faint line Early detection Pregnancy Test

Hi all

I took a Clear Blue 6 day Ultra Early detection test. AF is due tomorrow/Friday. I haven't used the first wee of the day but I also have not had any distinctive symptoms like I did with my fist BFP (which ended in an early miscarriage), such as swollen breasts that were extremely veiny, underlying soft sick feeling.

The very faint blue line appeared almost straight away and stayed within the 3 minute wait. It is still there about 30 minutes in but has faded.

Can this be a false positive? I will retest tomorrow first thing in the morning but was just wondering if these tests are reliable.

This was mine 4 or 5 days before period would of been due I did ivf though so timings were spot on a line is usually a line keep testing the line should get darker.

Okay great I'll test again tomorrow as I reckon the urine will be too diluted so would be a waste. I'm worried its a false positive and as it faded after 30 mins or so

A line is a line but for me personally a faint line so close to my date my period was due didn't bode well for the pregnancy.

But it depends if you are sure when you ovulated etc. For me I knew I exactly when I ovulated so knew when the line should be strong IYSWIM.

That looks like a pretty clear positive to me. Pink dye tests tend to be more reliable but I’m fairly confident your test tomorrow will say the same.

I just took a digital clear blue test again not using first wee of the day and it says 1-2 weeks pregnant too. Shall I test again tomorrow?

I’ve taken about 10 test over multiple days with every pregnancy so no harm in it, but I’m pretty sure you’re pregnant!

@buffalocauliflower Thank you for your message! I had bloods done on Thursday which showed my HCG levels @ 77. I've retested via pink due and digital test today. The pink dye has a reaaaaally faint almost not visible pink line. The digital test says pregnant 1-2 weeks. Not sure if I'm panicking because of my history or whether this is something to worry about.

Tbh if your HCG is that low and a pink dye (was it first response?) is faint I would say it probably doesn't look that hopeful. But there is nothing to do but wait. I'm sorry, I've been through this recently myself and the waiting is awful x

@priprincesscacao - no it was a pharmacy random branded one. I bought some waiteose own brand ones and they've come back darker but still a little light. CB digital are still showing pregnant
