Clear blue - very faint (thick) blue line

Hi all

My wife has just tested (3 days before her expected period) with the below results on a clear blue test.

Has anyone else experienced this reading ? It is extremely faint but there is definitely something there. This was the result after 3 mins ...

Any feedback is most welcome, we are cautiously optimistic after trying for nearly 12 months now (eeeek) ...

I would get a first response pink dye test to double check but be cautiously optimistic

Thank you so much. I think it's setting in now but we will only celebrate once we retest in a few days time. Appreciate your quick reply :)

Definitely looks like a positive especially if it came up within the ten mins window, after ten mins CB tests often up up with a false positive (evaporation line)
Perhaps try a digital to be sure :)

This morning we re-tested using a clear blue digital and it was positive!! What a relief :D!!

2 positive clear blue instantly but very faint at first but after 3 minutes got darker am I pregnant my friends believe I am but need an opinion from someone I don’t know
