1 BFP followed by 2 BFN next day?! What's going on?

Have been TTC for 6m.
Tested yesterday, 13dpo and got a BFP. Lune was quite faint, but came up pretty quickly, picture attached.
Tested again today first thing and again just now and 2 BFN.
What could this mean?

Could be a chemical, OP.

Maybe wait 2 days and test again with FMU, if AF hasn't turned up?

This has just happened to me too.
Tested yesterday and positive ( came up faint pink but very quickly) and today negative. I have heard some tests can have indents which gather the dye. Im accepting it was probably an error and will test again in a few days! But have had a weird burning ovary area cramp on/off today so am hoping maybe my luck will change.

Tested again today - can't help myself 😅 and still BFN. Think you're right, seems like a chemical. I hadn't even heard of a chemical pregnancy until this happened and had a Google of what could be going on. So frustrating!

So frustrating isn't it when you get your hopes up after the first BFP.
Fingers crossed for you! I got another BFN this morning with FMU so thinking likely chemical 🤷‍♀️
