Got a bfp two days ago and I’ve done another test this morning and it’s a bit darker but should it not be much darker by now, like nearly the same as the control line? Worried it’s another chemical 😞 13dpo and AF due today. Regular 25 day cycle and pretty sure when I ovulated

That’s reassuring! Line isn’t really any darker this morning though 😞

It looks ok to me - darker than the lines I had at 13dpo with my chemicals. But really everyone and every pregnancy is different. Best thing to do if you’re worried is to wait at least two days as then you should be able to see a difference. Better yet stay away from the tests all together, a line is a line. But I know that’s not the easy option!

OP this was my test at 13dpo just like yours. I'm now 10 weeks+2 days.

So long as your line is slightly darker by Sunday, I'm sure all is good 😊❤️ keep us updated! Xx

Looks like a lovely strong line to me! Congratulations

SaraSS · 01/07/2022 14:55

Looks like a good line. Have you got a digital test to try? Sometimes they offer a little bit of comfort as they aren't as sensitive, maybe you could take one at the weekend?
Also, you may have ovulated a day or so later than expected so this could be dpo 10/11?
Sorry that's not very helpful! Good luck. Keep us posted !

@Charl881 I’ll try and leave it two days!!
I know stressing over it won’t make any difference but it’s not easy is it. I had a chemical a few months ago which was much fainter than this and a MMC at ten weeks last year which was a strong positive by this point but still didn’t end well so there’s no end to the worrying is there 🙈

That's great the the digital came up positive! That's a definite then, time will tell if it sticks though. Unfortunately nothing more you can do now as far as I know.
I'm sorry about your past experiences.
Do you think there will be a point which you can relax a little more?

I've had a MC 10 years ago. Now I'm ttc again it brings it all back. I've not had a BFP yet but I'm sure I'll be anxious if it does happen.. (big IF as it's taking a long time)

Huffle · 01/07/2022 15:36

Fingers crossed for you @SaraSS
I don’t think I’ll relax ever no 🤣 always something to worry about, DD’s are 6 and 9 and I worry about everything so there’s no end to it. I’d love another but if it doesn’t happen I feel so lucky to have my DD’s 💗 I’m nearly 40 so I guess that doesn’t help!
