I'm CD16 today, around 2-3dpo.

This is my flo app and me and my partner have only managed to DTD on the Tuesday last week(in my fertile window) then I O'd on the friday/saturday. Then DTD last night too. Also in my fertile window according to my app.

My question is have any of you ladies gotten pregnant having sex days before Ovulation? ❤

While I have not got experience of this being true, I know it is possible given sperm can live for up to 5 days in the reproductive tract waiting for the egg to be released. Good luck and sending baby dust your way xx

It's recommended to have sex before ovulation anyway because then the sperm is waiting for the egg inside the fallopian tubes.

Do you track with OPK and/or bbt? The app will only be as good as the data inputted - with no other data it will assume a standard 28 day cycle (or 14 day LP if you've just been tracking periods). With the Tuesday session you may be in with a shot 🤞

I had sex the day after my period ended (so day 6 of cycle) and got pregnant. Wasn't tracking, no idea when I ovulated but must have been a good while later...

I did! we only DTD once around my O time as was not actively trying and that's how it panned out around that time. I ovulated 5 days after we DTD and we fell pregnant. Unfortunately we lost at 10 weeks which really sucked but I'm hoping we're lucky again 🤞🏼

Update ladies:

Around 10-11dpo now and I'm experiencing some signs of pregnancy but trying not to get my hopes up! I'm due AF this Friday but I really don't think it's going to show, just a feeling I have! 🤞😩

Following this one. Had dtd once a week due to work etc....and no clue on cycle its a mess on cd52!!! . But had ewcm day after we dtd? Hoping that was it! Possible 12dpo tody cramps but mild and pink spotting which has gone now. Hoping too will test on friday good luck!

Yes, in both of my pregnancies.

I know logically it makes sense to trust the app - but please don't! I had a friend who did this and the app was incorrect and they'd been trying for 6 months at the wrong time (!!!!) just past the ovulation window because the app told them to.

A consultant obstetrician colleague of mine pretty much told me to stop tracking, have sex every few days and to enjoy it! (This was a bit cringe because he's a man in his 60s)

I followed his advice..roughly in my head knowing that about 2 weeks after the first day of my previous period I would be fertile but not getting hung up on it.

I occasionally used ovulation sticks - which are more trust worthy than an app tracker and I fell pregnant within 4 months.

Im very very dubious about the apps as they can only really go on dates/figures you put in...and in my case my body fluctuates and my window always changed.

Taken 3 tests and all negative or what appear to be negative, I'm around 12dpo so I'm sure I should get atleast a faint positive by now surely if I was? I don't know, I feel so sad seeing all these negatives but I've thought this was my month, crazy 😔😩 am I out do you think? Xx

@BabyBx oh lovely that sucks. I would say you're never out until AF arrives but if it was me I would be thinking it's probably negative too. Big hugs x
