Ovulation

Hi, my ovulation snuck up on me this month and I’m wondering how likely I am to get pregnant, my tests normally gradually get darker so I know when it’s coming so can time intercourse for the days leading up but my tests went from barely a line to very positive in a matter of 12 hours, I test every 12 hours and the test 24 hours before the positive was no line at all, the test 12 hours before there was a line coming and then it was blazing and very positive so we only had intercourse a few hours after the positive test and the next day but I’ve read it’s the intercourse before the positive that is more likely to get you pregnant than once you’ve got a positive test. Thank you for any advice or insight.

Im wondering if it’s a problem with the opks - I switched to a new brand, previously I was using the green ones which gave really consistent results (I also used them when I previously fell pregnant). Hmmmmm! We will find out in 2 weeks!

@Wouldloveanother hmm maybe, I like sticking to what I know so I’d probably buy the same ones for the next cycle if this one doesn’t work but you’d think they should work really

same old for me; positive OPK at midway, now negative again. Beyond fed up!

@Wouldloveanother they’ve started getting slightly darker since the photo I showed you so not sure if I’ll get another surge yet because they’re definitely not at all positive but who knows. It’s so frustrating isn’t it, have you got any other batches of tests to try and see if they show any different?

Well I did order my old tests and got this result today. I also had that distinctive ovulation pain a couple of hours ago so we dtd just to be on the safe side. It’s just very irritating as I put off ttc for a few months with perfect opks because of one reason or another, I start ttc and it all goes pear shaped! Hopefully you’ll get a clear strong surge!

@Wouldloveanother at leat you’ve had ovulation pain for some kind of confirmation! It’s so typical isn’t it, I did a test today and it couldn’t be anymore negative

So annoying!
I haven’t tested today - I’m stopping now as it’s stressing me out. I’ve done the deed to cover 90% of fertile week so just got to hope that’s enough. And if not, I hope my opks return to normal next cycle - I guess my main worry is that my system is somehow a little messed up!

@Wouldloveanother sometimes it becomes too much doesn’t it, I wasn’t going to test anymore but decided to do one more and it’s a lot darker than the rest 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not quite positive but looks like it could get there, not a clue whats going on. Was you on any bc recently?

@Wouldloveanother how you doing? I’m 6dpo today with light cramping near my left ovary so not sure if it’s period cramps or what, I hate the wait 😩

@Wouldloveanother how did this cycle go for you? My period came, I'm wondering if I even ovulated at all
