Neg test & 3-5 days late for period - what else could this be?!

Hi all

My cycles have been a little longer the last 3 months (from 28 to 30 days) and this month I am 3 days late for my period, I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms up until the last 2 days where I have been needing to wee much more.

I did a test this morning (cheapie one) but as I’m potentially 3-5 days late for period I would have thought it would have shown positive if I’m pregnant but a definite negative….

is this right? Or are the cheapie internet ones not as accurate?

ive been pregnant before and it showed a definite positive by this many days late for my period..

i can’t think why I would have a negative, unless I ovulated later and I’m not as pregnant as I think?!

last period was 16th May….

can anyone help me to shed some light?

Could have ovulated later, but it could just be a wonky cycle!

Hmm just seems so odd, I had positive Ovulation tests this month but is it possible I just didn’t ovulate..

I still don’t understand the urge to pee more..

Urge to pee more is a result of a speedy metabolism due to a change in hormones. Can happen in both PMS and early pregnancy. My fingers and toes are crossed that you are pregnant xx

As an update, sadly, although after testing positive yesterday I have had quite substantial bleeding so can only assume it’s an early miscarriage/chemical :(
