3 days late, constant period cramps, BFN

I’m 3 days late and since the day my period was due I’ve had constant cramping, just as I would on day 2/3 of my period that requires hot water bottle and paracetamol. It’s radiating from my left side too.
My cycles are usually bang on 27/28 days, and the odd cycle where I have been late, I’ve had no period cramps whatsoever beforehand like this. It literally feels like I should be changing pads every hour they’re that strong, but nothing other than a bit of spotting a couple of days my period was due (which is normal for me).
My cramps continued through the night and woke me up this morning, but the FRER was a BFN.

Also, my boobs always feel sore right up to my period is due, and then as soon as I start, my boobs practically go flat and back to normal! But they continue to be sore and feel ‘full’, although not noticeably bigger or anything.

It feels like my period will never come at this rate! So maybe it’s possible I’m pregnant but my tests just aren’t showing yet?

has anyone had a really late BFP?

We’re TTC #1 and 18 months in. I really hope this is it.

Bump 😀felt so groggy today, but still no sign of period! Has anyone felt like this and just had a late BFP? I’ve only had one or two periods that started a couple of days late in recent years, but that included no cramping beforehand. These cramps have sometimes been unbearable!

hi @whomoon , i know im late but was wondering if your period did come or were you pregnant? I have been crampong for a week now so expecting af any moment but wondering whether periodlike cramps cud still possibly mean pregnancy

Hey! Hope you get your BFP. When did you ovulate? One thing I read is that your luteal phase is seldom longer than 14 days, even if youre irregular.

its always weird seeing my past posts, feels like a lifetime ago!
My period did come, and checking back on my calendar it came later that day. So a longer than usual cycle than normal.
I’m actually having a longer than usual cycle and am 4 days late today, but no symptoms and BFNs, and expecting AF to come this evening I can feel it.

sorry I can’t give you any hopeful news. I myself still Google and live in hope for anything that might mean I could be pregnant. Good luck x

@whomoon thanks and good luck to you too...my af did come but its a bit odd and not its normal flow but painful as a normal period...
