My partner and I (26F) have only started TTC in the last month or so. I came off the contraceptive pill mid May and we have unprotected sex very regularly, I also downloaded the Flo app to track my ovulation/periods etc and we had unprotected sex throughout my ovulation.
Since then I've been having some unusual symptoms that I've never had throughout taking the pill/before I took the pill, but part of me is thinking I can't possibly be pregnant already. I was wondering if anyone has had similar and could these be symptoms from coming off the pill or are they early signs of pregnancy?
Over the last week my boobs have been unbelievably sore, wearing a bra hurts, washing myself in the shower hurts, they just feel really tender and almost bruised. My partner said my nipples also look bigger and darker. I've also had weird pains sort of at the front of my abdomen, especially during sex, almost like a cramp but right at the front if that makes any sense? They don't feel like period pain. I've also had a lot of lower back ache. I've never had any of these symptoms while on the pill or on my periods before I started taking the pill. I've also had sooo much excess saliva (sorry if TMI, it's so gross!) which I've never experienced before and keep smelling things that no one else does (particularly chicken gravy!).
I did two pregnancy tests last week, just cheap ones from Sainsburys, which was the week before my period was due and they were both negative. I'm pretty sure I'm due to come on my period tomorrow (this will only be my second period since stopping the pill) and just wondered if anyone has any insights into whether these could be early pregnancy symptoms or not? I'm convinced that these aren't my typical period/PMS symptoms but also don't want to get my hopes up too much, and spend a fortune on tests, because we have only just started trying.
