So thought I'd start a new thread for anyone who's hoping for a July BFP. My AF showed up today a week early after getting loads of pregnancy symptoms 🥲 think my body is still out of sync after my miscarriage in April.

So let's stay positive for a July BFP 🥰

Hi all 👋 just wanted to check in. I'm in my fertile window, had a bit of EWCM this morning and got a high OPK (not.peak). Not.managed to DTD yet this cycle so not feeling hopeful 😪 may have to move on to August

@LucyLoopyLu don't give up yet! You've still got a few days maybe. You never know you could actually ovulate later. Don't give you hope x

@Angie2018, im not totally sure what the SMEP method is. The dr told me that because I had regular 28 day cycles to dtd on day 7 (to empty dh and make sure not too many old swimmers lying there) then nothing till days 11, 13 and 15. (11 so there could be some further up to meet the egg, 13 day before ov, 15 day after in case I ovd late) you would just adjust it for your cycle length (so 30 day cycles, days 9, 13, 15 and 17 etc) not sure how it works, but it did for us and for some friends that tried it too.

@TheHC thanks, that's reassuring!! Really hope it happens soon. I think I worry more with having lost a tube but the dr said the other tube isn't fixed so can pick up eggs from both ovaries. They move about, apparently!! Who knew.

@Purple29 yes I'm the 1st December ( start of chocolate advent calendars 🤣) my OH turns 40 on the 30th November lol. When we first met he said what hospital was you born at incase our moms was in at the same time. I was born in Southern Ireland so definitely wasn't born at the same hospital xx

@Purple29 ahhh so every other day then! So Google the SMEP method as there's lots of success on it. We've done it this month I am praying it's worked x

@Angie2018 we did SMEP and got pregnant first month with baby #1 and #2! It's fun if anything else 😄

@My2boysaremyworld I'm the 5th, my DH is 6 months younger so I get to hit 40 first!!! I am going look up SMEP now!!!

@Angie2018 e218 I guess you have a point, I will test on Wednesday which might be around 10 dpo (+/-3) because I have a GP call on fertility issues that day - at least to make sure the "issue" exists :))
I've been TTC since October (9 months) and in the first 3-4 months I was symptom-checking and thinking it will happen. Many people say it happens when you forget about it and relax. It's obviously difficult to relax because you have to, but I simply became more disillusioned with all negative tests (including ovulations), spending money on FRERs, OPKs, Clear Blue motility lube, checking daily, and inconclusive GP tests, so my default thought became "it's not happening". I hope it makes sense why I stopped monitoring ovulations and just check the calendar for ballpark estimates.
These symptoms now are the strongest I ever had, and I do hope it's not just post-Covid fatigue, wrong intuition, etc.
Fingers crossed for everyone testing over the next weeks and will keep you posted with results! xx

@Apple421 thing is it can take totally healthy couples a year to conceive and it be normal but I get at 9 months why you would want to get checked out. It's our 6th cycle this time, if we aren't lucky this time we will try twice more using the SMEP method and then pay privately to have checks on us both x

I got a positive ovulation test on Thursday and Friday morning. We are trying SMEP so should have DTD Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday.

We have DTD Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Unsure if we will do Monday.

Hoping it's ok that we've missed Saturday. Before the positive on Thursday we'd done Tuesday and Sunday

It only takes one swimmer!! X

Does anyone get a persistent ache on one side of their lower back? Like it's just uncomfortable? Could that be a sign of ov?

@Purple29 I had that on Thursday, was even uncomfortable to sit. Not sure what it is?? Xx

I am ok thanks.... trying to stay hopeful but also trying to convince myself I am not pregnant so I don't get upset. But I already feel myself getting upset for no reason because I am so worried it's not worked and it will devastate me xx

@My2boysaremyworld yeah its not like muscle pain, like a dull uncomfortable ache, more on one side. But not my pelvis, so wasn't sure if it was ovulation or not. Thought it would be more in the front!! Im CD 12, would normally ov on CD 13 or 14 I think.

@My2boysaremyworld I feel tired too but I don't think that's related to anything. It's too early tbh! I doubt anything will change for me for a few days anyway either way. Just a horrible waiting game!

Just had a nice form to complete from my sons school. My eldest has been chosen to represent the school at a commonwealth games event doing his drumming. Proud mommy 🥰xx

Yeah it's on my mind and I'm struggling with how sad it's making me even though I could almost be pregnant 🙈

I am really scared this month of failure. I think it's because of the chemical last month and throwing everything we had at this months TTC xx
