Hoping for a BFP in July

So thought I'd start a new thread for anyone who's hoping for a July BFP. My AF showed up today a week early after getting loads of pregnancy symptoms 🥲 think my body is still out of sync after my miscarriage in April.

So let's stay positive for a July BFP 🥰

I would love to join. I’m CD4 now and AF buggered off yesterday after a weird week of on off spotting for 5 days then 2.5 days of heavy flow which is so weird for me. I normally have 1 day or no days of spotting then full on for 4 days then 1 light day.

hoping for it to be my month but I’m scared to be hopeful in case it doesn’t happen

@allgoodthings84 oh no our bodies can be annoying at times can't they. Have you been TTC for long?

@My2boysaremyworld this will be my first cycle properly trying. Last month I did opk’s to try and get a sense of ovulation and luteal phase etc before properly starting to try and I learned nothing as my body decided to mess around 🤦‍♀️. We did dtd once 3 days before ovulation with no contraception but only because we thought we was nowhere near ovulation. I did learn I peak from low to peak quickly 😂 or did that time.

I’m expecting to be in it for the long haul though as I’m 37 now

@allgoodthings84 I'm 39 turn 40 in December so stressing a bit now. Iv got 2 DS but my partner hasn't got any. Would love to give him a child of his own. He treats my boys like his own and says he's got children but I know it would be special having one together x

@My2boysaremyworld I’m in a similar situation. I have a daughter who’s 7 but my partner has no children and would love one. he loves my daughter and is amazing with her I understand why he would love his own and my daughter would be delighted

@allgoodthings84 yes fingers crossed we get our babies. I'm off to work now to help postnatal depressed moms and help with their babies. I love it but it's hard since the miscarriage xx

@My2boysaremyworld I know exactly what you mean about work being harder after a miscarriage. I work with children, and the area is full of people who care more about their own needs than their children's. It hurts so much to think that they've been nested with children and I'm struggling to conceive (although I know that, in the grand scheme of things, we're not actually struggling yet! Just me struggling mentally...)

@simplythequest Iv been ok so far at work but today I had to go to the toilet to cry. One of the moms Iv been working with brought her newborn baby in and god it hit me hard 😢 why is life so unfair xx

Can I join too? I am hoping for a BFP in July! Not due to ovulate for 10 days or so though.... I'd love some company though x

Oh and I am now on cycle 6 for baby number 1 and finding it incredibly hard like most of you xx

@My2boysaremyworld ah have a nice chill day! My AF still isn't here. Tested today at 14dpo, negative on FRER & clear blue so don't think I'm pregnant. Don't understand what's going on, can't stop crying, woke up at 3.30 with a huge headache, feeling sick and burning up. Hormones are playing havoc with me. How you feeling? X

@Angie2018 how many days is AF late? Our bodies like to mess with us don't they. There still could be a chance for you if you ovulated late? Do you know when you ovulated?

I'm ok still feeling a bit emotional today but think it's just my hormones xx

@My2boysaremyworld AF was due from Wednesday but I think either yesterday or today. I always get very strong AF symptoms and have none of them this month. I had very very very light spotting Sunday, and brown tinged watery CM Monday and Tuesday. Then a tiny spot Wednesday. Had v v mild cramps (about 2 or 3) Sunday and 2 Monday morning with headaches, bloating, gas, didn't want to eat anything. Then that all went away. Haven't had normal AF cramps or normal cervix pains before AF either. Just strange feelings. I should be 14dpo today, at the very most 15dpo and least 13dpo. I suspect 14dpo which was day after the ovulation pain and 5th day of EWCM. I feel awful today. Feel sick, banging headache, can't stop crying. Cervix is also not the normal low and hard like a rock this month. I always know AF is looming as cervix is very low and hard. Not been like that at all this week. So I am super confused. It could just be a strange month and I may get AF late and hormones been dodgy. I think I was hoping for a BFP this morning as I feel so off. But got 2 negatives so can't be preggo! How many dpo are you? Xx

@Angie2018 that all sounds hopeful to me. It's not unusual to get late positives. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm on cycle day 3 now. Had a strange cycle last month and AF arrived a week early. I had a period 4 weeks bang on after my miscarriage in April and thought that was my proper period but think this one is and the last one was god knows what it was lol.

@My2boysaremyworld I think bodies do weird things don't they!! Sorry to hear about your miscarriage that's really horrible to go through. I wish you all the luck in the world for this cycle!!

When I woke last night feeling like this I thought surely it's got to be positive this morning, but both said negative so I don't know whether to be hopeful or not now.

One things for sure I am so confused and don't understand the spotting last Sunday, nor the cramps, not the headaches and bloated ness. That was all a very first for me in my life.... I also have never had a headache and sick feelings like this before a period either, whilst I am cranky I don't normally burst into tears. I am absolutely boiling too. And the throwing up in my mouth in yoga yesterday was a first! But I still think even after all these symptoms my body may be playing tricks on me!! I just want to know one way or another so I can move forward. I think that's the hardest thing.

I think il test Sunday if AF still not here!

Have you tried the SMEP method before? I think il try that next fertile window heard good things!!

Thank you, yes the miscarriage was extremely hard. I ended up in theatre cuz baby got stuck in my cervix and I was in horrendous pain, even morphine didn't touch me. Iv just had a mini breakdown and couldn't stop crying. Iv been doing ok but the last few days it's really hitting me. I'm so angry cuz I know of all the milestones I should be hitting now like feeling the first kicks etc. I just pray I get my rainbow baby xx

@My2boysaremyworld it's the sperm meets egg plan... Google that and have a read! It's interesting and specifically talks about helping to conceive after a miscarriage! I'm defo trying it!

I really feel for you it sounds horrendous. I can imagine how sad it must make you. I really hope you get your BPF this month!!

I agree I have some positive symptoms but I feel I've given up hope because of the BFNs this morning. It's made me so sad this month. It's hard to think if it's not pregnancy causing the spotting then why did I spot? And also maybe I did conceive and it's not sticking... hard to keep your mind positive. I never wish the weekend away but I just want to test Sunday now 🙈 xx
