Myo inositol period length

Hi,

I started taking inositol after my rm tests said I had sightless polycystic ovaries and I have other symptoms also.

I have been taking it for about 3 months now and my cycles have got from 28-33 days to bang on 30 days each cycle which is great. But I have noticed my periods are only lasting like 3 days now when it uses to be 5-6. Well 3 days bleeding, maybe the 4th day of brown old blood.

Do you think 3 days is too short and maybe my uterus lining isn't getting thick enough anymore?

Just wondering if maybe I should cut the dose down seen as my ovaries were only slightly polycystic. Don't wanna over do it and cause other problems of that makes sense. Anyone with any experience got any advice?

Also the third day of my period is also really light.

I'm not a professional, but I don't think that's a problem. I also don't think you can draw any conclusions as to how thick your uterus lining is. I have a very light period, also only 3 to 5 days and some days I won't need a tampon, but my GP is always very happy with my uterus lining.

@Bundaberg84 ok thanks for your advice l. It's always great to hear other people opinions when you get sucked into the internet. I just read that it can mean a thin lining as it's light. I think this month it has only been 2.5 days. I may try drinking some pomegranate juice just for good measure 😂
