Curse of the Clear Blue?

Hi all,

I’ll skip the backstory and get straight to the tea …

Yesterday afternoon I took a Clear Blue dye test (the one that claims you can detect up to six days earlier) and swore I could see the beginning of a blue line. I didn’t want to spend the day squinting to I took a Clear Blue digital later that evening, which came back with a resounding ‘Not Pregnant.’ Okay. That’s that.

This morning I decided to take the remaining CB dye test and that pesky ghost line is there again! (Photo posted below)

I’ve done a thorough and comprehensive search via the Internet (I.E I read a few MN threads) and it seems like these tests are throwing up a few ‘false positives’ (didn’t know these were possible.)

Has anybody else experienced ‘false positives’/evap lines on these particular tests?

The digitals require a much higher amount of the HCG hormone to be present (25) whereas the other CB you have posted above only requires 10, try a digital in 48 hours or so. 😊

Hmm the pesky clearblue lines that mean fuck all (not bitter!) are usually quite thin - you have quite a thick line there!

Can you get a FRER?

I think that looks positive xx the evap lines are much thinner and not in the centre

What everyone else said. Doesn't look like an indent or evap to me - maybe you can get your hands on a pink dye?
