Faint positive or evaporation line?

Any test I’ve ever taken always very quickly shows just a single line, never any other marks.

Tested this morning, too early but my stomach and breasts have been sore for the past couple of days, and a very faint second line appeared.

I think there’s a pink tinge to it but DH thinks it’s colourless so we’re undecided and don’t want to get our hopes up.

I’ve never had a positive or evaporation line before so can’t tell which this is?!?! Grateful for any advice even if it’s to lower my expectations of getting a stronger positive soon.

Did the line appear within the time frame?
Also, how early are you testing?

Yes, it appeared in the time frame yesterday morning when I tested.

My period is due on Monday, currently on day 27 of my cycle.

I’m 50/50 with this one! Can’t see the colour but not normal for an evap to show up so quick. I’d test again tbh and see what happens, just hold your wee for a couple of hours.

Having read your updates, I'd be inclined to think it might be a positive. I would test again - I found that Clear Blue or First Response gave me stronger results that the cheaper tests in the early days. Use FMU too, but sounds like you're doing that.

Your test this morning looks like mine did, I did a FRER the same day and it was positive. Some of these cheap ones never seem to show decent lines from my experience - fingers crossed for you!

I had evaps or indents on those, and they were not that clear. I would say it is a positve!

Couldn’t get a 6 days early First Response test so got those coming from Amazon tomorrow. DH got a regular First Response test tonight and just tried it. We are cautiously hopeful. Thanks for your advice!
