No longer needed ovulation tests and vitamins for TTC, FREE!!

Hello All!

Last year, at 41 years old, my husband and I were TTC. I assumed it would take us ages to get that BFP, so I stocked up on supplies.

Hubs and I both started on these TTC vitamins in January 2021, knowing we'd start TTC in spring (he took the men's version).

We started TTC in May. I tracked my basal temperature every morning but hadn't tried actual ovulation kits. In August, I added ovulation kits to our regimen, at the advice of a friend who had used them successfully. I used two kinds, figuring that might help me have a more accurate prediction.

I assumed August would be a practice month if getting used to the ovulation kits. According to my temperature and cycle averages, I expected to ovulate around the 18th or so, but I tried the kits and they indicated a week earlier! The 12th!

So of course I pounced on my husband, just in case, but assuming that it wouldn't work.

Well, we got our BFP on 26 August!!!

Superstitious me, I kept all these things fearing I would tempt fate if I let go of them.

Our sweet boy was born on 24 April, less than one year from when we started trying! 🥰 He's healthy and happy and perfect.

SO! Now it is time for me to give away the tools that brought me luck and success.

As pictured:
I have boxes of sealed vitamin sachets (they dissolve in water).
I also have ovulation test kits.
Finally, I have one digital pregnancy test.

All expiration dates are 2024 or late 2023.

I would like to give these away, as it seems shockingly wasteful to bin them. I can meet you in West London to give them to you, in places like Kensington Gardens, Battersea Park, or any public landmark in between. I don't drive so cannot go further. If someone wanted to pay for postage, I'd be happy to mail them, but I'm not sure the logistics of how that would work.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

To clarify, the ovulation kits were correct and we conceived around the 12th 🎉

I would love these! I can pay for postage via PayPal?

aNewYorkerInLondon · 30/05/2022 20:49

@Teacaketotty, sure! Let me look for a box and go to the post office to get a price tomorrow.

That would be amazing thank you so much!

aNewYorkerInLondon · 31/05/2022 16:13

@Teacaketotty -- I just walked up there then realized that I need your address (I think) or at least your post code to get a price. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Could you email it to me at [email protected] ?

Do you have anything else left? I would be interested in the ov tests if it's still available? How very kind of you ❤️

@aNewYorkerInLondon hi just wanted to ask did you ovulate straight after AF then?

aNewYorkerInLondon · 01/06/2022 23:37

Hi @My2boysaremyworld!

My LMP was 30 July, but I had been having longer cycles, and that combined with my previous months' basal temperatures indicated I would likely ovulate on the 18th, but instead my August cycle patterned after a classic 28 days, and I ovulated on the 12th.

🙂
