Is it even worth getting the early detection tests and if so which one?

Period due on 8th June so with the 6 day early tests I can test as of Thursday but I have read loads of negative reviews of false positives.

Are you all using them and if so what one - Im thinking first reponse but maybe Clear Blue is better. The wait is driving me mad and even if its not happened this month I just would rsther know one way or the other?

I think I would wait a bit longer since this "6 days earlier" gimmick totally depends on how many DPO you are when your "6 days earlier" day is! Obviously varies from person to person. A short luteal phase could mean someone testing at 4dpo which is a load of rubbish!

Just get a few FRERs and start testing at 10/11dpo

I'd personally use the First Response Early Result ones, pink dye tests are better 😊 but like the lady above says, if you can, wait until 10-12DPO to test.

I'm 10DPO currently but won't be testing until 12DPO.

Good luck @ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler

Thanks both. Ive ordered the First Response ones from Amazon and will try to hold off until Sunday which should be 10dpo if I've worked it out right

This! I never understood the logic behind this "6 days earlier" gimmick. If you take into consideration that most women will have a luteal phase of around 14 days, and most implant at 9dpo, you will never get a positive 6 days earlier. It is simply not possible. But if you read the fineprint, it says "99% of all positives are true positives". Which makes sense.

I used an early detection test and got a very faint positive… 2 days after period due!
