CB 6 days early test - are they accurate ?

Hi :) I’m 9dpo and 5 days before AF. I’ve done a clear blue 6 days early test but apart from some evaporation misting it’s a negative. Just wondered if this would be an accurate negative ?
I feel I’m just getting so desperate for a BFP and at the age of 42 my time is running out. Was so hopeful for this month :(

From my experience (12 months TTC with a mc in March) they're pretty accurate. It could be that you've tested early or ovulated late but if your cycles regular and your due af soon then I'd say it's probably right

Totally get wanting it to change, I hold on to the slightest bit of hope every month and it's upsetting when you're not pregnant but all we can do is keep trying.

As you're over 35 have you thought about speaking to your GP? I think if you're trying for over 6 months age 35+ you can go to your GP (I'm sure someone here will tell me if I'm wrong though)

Thank you. Yes you’re right my GP did say that as I’m older I can contact her after six months of ttc and she can do a referral/further tests.

I’m not sure what to do, but maybe I’ll give it another month.

Just looked at the test again…..I think this is a line isn’t it ???

The CB tests are notorious for evap lines, especially after the time window is up. In your shoes I’d be inclined to try again in the morning with a FRER
