Evap or faint line then followed by negative tests

Hi,
I took a two tests on the 22nd May and I thought I could see a very very faint line. Then I got busy so I had to leave the tests and when I came back (couple of hours later) it was there however I'm wondering if it's a faint line or a evap or something. I have re tested this morning and it was negative. I have had symptoms and I'm not sure what day of my cycle I am on as I have irregular periods. I'm so confused by it all.
I can attach a photo if that helps.

Any help is greatly appreciated! X

If the line was there a few hours later, it's very possible that it was an evap. I've had tests that were negative within the window you're supposed to look, that have them had faint lines.

It's so tough when you don't know where you are in your cycle. My cycles can range from 24 days to 45 days and it's bloody hard figuring out where you are.

Thank you so much for replying!

Yeahh it probably is. It's just I thought I could see it before the time limit is up but I couldn't look properly until hours later :(. I've also had a little bit of brown spotting today so it's looking like a negative. It was just a huge shock as this has never happened to me before. It looked dark to what I'm used to aha.
Yeah I totally get what you mean!
