Could I have ovulated 2 weeks after MMC with some HCG left?

I had a MMC at 10 weeks and had d&c on 29th April. I tested on the 8th May and still got positive HCG test. By the 11th May it was faint but still there (shown in photo) on the 11th May I also tested with an OPK and got almost positive and then on 12th it was positive. Since then it has got fainter over the days.

Could this OPK have been showing ovulation even with my faint HCG tests? Or was this probably just picking up HCG? I will keep testing but just want to know if anyone else has ovulated this soon after MMC and still with faint pregnancy tests?

I've had a similar situation and the consultant i was seeing told me I would not ovulate whilst still getting positive pregnancy tests as my body still thinks its pregnant regardless of if hcg dropping. If hcg is still in the body it will not ovulate.
I'm sure stranger things have happened though but I assume extremely unlikely based on what he said x

I had a positive test for several weeks after my miscarriage xx

I had a miscarriage in Feb, I had MVA procedure on 28th. I was told to ring in if I was still getting positive tests after 3 weeks, which I was (blazing positives too) so I went in and they scanned me to check nothing had been retained. On the way to the hospital I had what I thought were ovulations pains on my right hand side, didn’t think anything of it, knowing it was “impossible”. Told the sonographer before she started and she said she would have a look at what might have been causing the pains… she saw on the scan that I had very recently ovulated from that side. I asked her how that’s possible with HCG still in my system and her very honest reply was “it’s a science, we still don’t know everything there is to know about the body”. So it is possible x

It is possible. I ovulated while I still had a very faint line on a FRER following an ectopic pregnancy. I know because I had ovulation pains, EWCM, and then a period 2 weeks and 1 day later. It is possible to ovulate with low levels of hcg.

Another one who also ovulated whilst still getting faint positive tests. I was told it was possible to ovulate if hcg was really low and that pregnancy tests are quite sensitive now so they do pick up low levels.

Thanks everyone. I guess I will just have to wait and see if I get AF or not. I feel like it might have been ovulation as had some pain on the left which has now gone. HCG test is now negative at least.
