Hi,

We’re TTC following an ectopic pregnancy. I’m frustrated because it feels like we went back a stage. I’m also just too obsessed - thinking about it constantly, symptom spotting, Googling everything, coming on here, testing my LH levels to make sure they don’t peak again!

I don’t want to be this way because it all just adds up to more disappointment when I start getting BFNs.

Does anyone have any tips on how to let go and relax? Next cycle I won’t be using OPKs because they encourage me to overthink and worry. I’m trying to make sure I have other things going on in my life beyond TTC. I should probably ban myself from googling things too.

Anyone else been like this and managed to turn things around?

Thanks

@WednesdayStar4 I can totally relate! Ttc 16 months and every TWW I become crazily obsessed, and just read posts on mumsnet for the whole time! It just eats me up! I have no advice, but your not alone! I’m 5DPO and have been fine up until today but it’s always around this point up to 9/10 DPO. I have spotting usually so I normally know by then af is on the way, I also test too and that rules snything out along with af symptoms!

We are ttc after a long winded mc, I feel similar. Although I’m struggling to determine the fertile window this month. I haven’t used opk’s yet, last time I was relaxed and just used cm as the indicator for the fertile window.

your Not alone OP that’s exactly what I’m doing right now. Time ttc makes no difference, :(

I'm in the same boat 6dpo. Needed a pee so thought I'd do a preg test and opk! 🙈 I'm annoyed with myself as it had been about 4 days that I hadn't thought of any testing even when I felt a raise in my temp and some nausea. Now I am reading various 6dpo posts! Try and keep busy. If I'm out of the house more I don't have much opportunity to test lol. Don't buy any tests. Give them to someone to hang onto if you have any home x
