Best day to pregnancy test for accuracy?

Hi everyone, first time TTC. I've seen some people do early testing on 9/10/11 DPO. I am too afraid to do that in case it's a false positive. So wondering in your opinion when the earliest you think you can test, and be confident it won't be a mistake?

I know day 1 of your missed period would be ideal but if you couldnt wait that long but thought day 10 was too early, when do you think?

Hope this isn't a stupid question 😳

Thank you!

Implantation is between 8dpo and 12dpo.
So I would say anything from 12dpo on wards.
Some people test early and can see the positive line but not everyone.

I have used a lot a pregnancy tests...so yes you can see a line early in some cases but if you want an unmistakable line then test from 12dpo.

I've had a line as early 6 DPO but then the others have all been 9dpo onwards. The current one was a squinter at 10dpo and a faint line at 11dpo and a good solid line at 12dpo.

Great thanks. I was planning to wait until 14 DPO but don't think i can so hearing 12 is good news.

Can I use any kind of test from 12DPO or do I need to stick to first response / clear blue early detection?

I'd stick to frer tests as they measure from about 6-7 hcg whereas cheapie tests are about 20-25 hcg
