No withdrawal bleed after coming off pop pill

Hi everyone, wondering if someone could offer some advice before I book a docs appt..

I came off the mini pill/POP on Monday 11th April. My husband and I decided to start trying straight away (aware this isn't advised).

We DTD 17/4/22 then have been DTD 3 times a week from then.

I was expecting to have a withdrawal bleed but still haven't had one yet. I've done a pregnancy test but negative.

Is this normal? Do some woman not have a withdrawal bleed? Could I be pregnant but I've tested too soon?

I had a "withdrawal bleed" prior to coming off the pill for 6 days on 29th March and used to get them every other month quite regularly so could it just be that I may get one next month? Just read a lot that it should come post pill up two weeks after coming off!

Some advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

I had no withdrawal bleed. Stopped POP 02/10, ovulation tested peak on 01/11, positive test 11/11

@2under2in2022 thank you for your response! I haven't done any OPK tests as hoping for it to just happen naturally without tracking all the time, so I guess there could be chance I'm pregnant but tested too early?

Did you get many symptoms pre positive test? :)

You don't tend to get a withdrawal bleed coming off the POP, although you do from the combined pill.

Bleeding after coming off the POP is hard to predict. The earliest period would be around 4 weeks (if that's your usual cycle length) if you became fertile immediately. The period could be delayed or you may get some non period bleeding while your cycle recovers.

That's also good to know, thank you @helpmum2003 :)

@2under2in2022 May I ask how they worked out your due date if you didn't have a period post coming off pill?

Did they do it from the day you came off the pill instead? Xx
