Positive easy@home tests but negative FRER

Has anyone experienced this before or can give insight?

I am 15DPO and period expected today, no sign so far. I have achey nipples, occasional pulling sensation down there and fatigued.

I tested easy@home this morning and it was negative then decided to do one at 3.45pm and it was faint line (see images). I then did another 2 easy@homes over the next couple hours and still line, faint line but it’s there!

I then did a FRER and CB ultra early digital and both BFN :(

not sure what to think! Will test in the morning with FMU but I want to see if anyone has any insight!

Looks to me like you’re really early, you may not have strong enough hcg for the other few tests.

I used to pee into something so that I could do a second test with the same sample as needed. I also found my hcg was strongest mid afternoon.

If you want to test again, hold for 4 hours and don’t have anything to drink. Good luck!

@ChickinMarango yes perhaps I over did it as I was definitely trying to push the wee out by the end haha!

however FRER is meant to be more sensitive than essy@home so this is where I’m concerned :(

I didn't get a line on a FRER but did on others, it's the first time I ever used a first response and wouldn't again.. although I was actually pregnant so hopefully won't need too 🤞🙈

I've had the same with frer this afternoon? Says negative but my easy at home is positive. This was yesterday morning with the easy at home tests and came up straight away? X

@Hjudge56 what sensitivity are your easy at home ones? If you’re pregnant it will be early and will make all the difference with urine strength.

I’ve got a really bad feeling though as I’ve just done another cheapie and it’s BFN :(

maybe that’s because urine is too diluted but I will test in the morning with FMU and see. Just think it was too good to be true after testing again now!

@Hjudge56 next time definitely pee in something so you can dip multiple tests.

This is my 10miu bfp and FRER from the same urine sample (16.04.21!) she’s 19 weeks old :)

do you think it’s possible to have a faint line in the afternoon then bfn at night and still be pregnant?

or am I clutching at straws here!!

@Hjudge56 with how early it would be most definitely. It takes up to 48 hours to double too so can be a few days before you can pee any time and get a line!

well ladies I think this may have been a chemical :(

just tested with FMU and no line at all on cheapie now. AF still isn’t here and still have same symptoms from yesterday. Going to test again in a couple hours but I think it was too good to be true.

to have 3 positives on cheapies yesterday afternoon and a negative this morning means it’s likely to be chemical right?

i feel so upset. How can that change so quickly?! To make it even more cruel AF still isn’t here. If this is a chemical which is very much looks like it is- how quickly will I start bleeding? Just want this over and done with

@Hjudge56 I’m so sorry if this is the case, I would imagine bleeding would start in the next 48 hours but could be longer. 😞

On a positive note I know of lots of people that have fallen the next month as they’re more fertile for whatever reason. Keep us updated, sending you big hugs!

update for you guys: I just did another test as curious if the afternoon would have a bit more luck! It was another cheapie and saw a Vvvvvvvvv faint line but did see something!

not sure if that means anything but I’ve accepted my fate at this point and expecting AF to turn up over the next couple days! Having all sorts of twinging going on down there so I’m not sure that would be happening if all was going well!

I’ve taken more yesterday and they were negative but I was being frantic and not leaving any time for urine to become concentrated.

I think realised I may not have ovulated when I thought 🙈 so may not have been as many DPO as I thought. I think I am 17DPO but could be 15DPO. I am now 3-4 days late. Sore boobs, fatigued, harder to get up in the mornings, fair bit of CM produced daily. So honestly @ChickinMarango all the signs are there!

I have my FMU in a pot upstairs which I’m going to test on a cheapie soon but I had lots of errands to run this morning. I’m scared to test because I know it’s going to be a negative but I can’t get over how pregnant I feel and my periods are NEVER late! I am always on the dot 24-25 day cycle. Today is day 28!

@Hjudge56 I know the feeling, being a POAS addict. Even after my obvious positives I took another 15 😂

It is so annoying, if you’ve no period and no obvious line by Monday I’d make an appointment with the GP. Some will refer you for bloods to check HCG.

Haha it’s so annoying @ChickinMarango ! Yes going to wait a few more days and then look at bloods!
