Hi guys

So I believe I ovulated day 17

I could have sworn I was pregnant because got twinges in my belly, lightening crotch a yeast infection then got sore boobs with erect nipples.

Since yesterday I got a feeling like my period was gonna come. Its still here today but my boobs aren't as sore and heavy as they were the last few days.

I've been testing wince 8 dpo all negative. Now im 13dpo . Last done a test yesterday it was negative.

Can't stop crying with mood swings and have really bad cramps.

Do you think it's my period coming on or is there still a possibility I'm pregnant.

I'm concerned that mu boobs aren't as sore anymore

Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

Chantelle

Ps I've had a twin miscarriage in July and another in October

Its breaking my heart trying

Hey @Tilly9321 I didn’t want to read and run. I don’t have any advice. I’ve had similar symptoms to you. Mood swings, cramps, sore boobs, back ache. I’m 9dpo and BFN (miscarriage, ectopic, chemical in the last 7 months), so understand your heartbreak. I think I’m at utter desperation now to be honest. Maybe we can wait together and keep each other company. Baby dust and fingers crossed all round x

Hi @Tilly9321 How are you doing today? I know it's been a few days now since you posted this but I just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel. I had a miscarriage (my first pregnancy) early this year. Since then, every time my period comes I get cramps a few days before. At first I started to feel I could be pregnant again, until I noticed it was just my body and my mind playing tricks on me. This hurt me even more, because I knew that I wasn't pregnant and I was growing an empty hope to myself that would make me feel even worse when my period was there.

With my first pregnancy I didn't get a bfp until 15dpo. So based on my experience I would say 13dpo is early, yes. I don't know what your outcome was but, if you are pregnant, congratulations! If you are not, hey, here you have a new cycle to try and a new person to share it with.

I completely understand the heartache @Tilly9321 - over 2 years into trying with only one miscarriage to show for it.

My strong advice is to ignore all symptoms early on. Early pregnancy symptoms (before about 6 weeks) tend to be caused by progesterone rise not HCG. Progesterone rise also happens prior to period. This means the symptoms of early pregnancy and period coming are THE SAME (sore boobs, cramps, fullness in abdomen, tiredness, nausea, increased discharge). Progesterone rises also vary month to month so v strong symptoms could mean pregnancy or could still just mean period.

I know this for sure as I'm currently on progesterone medication as part of a fertility treatment and feel all these things v strongly even though I'm 1000% not pregnant. So my overall takeaway - ignore all symptoms, it only increases heartache.
